First, let me inform you that an Internet home based business opportunity is the only viable
alternative to a job in the year 2010. Now that unemployment has reached 10
percent in the USA
that should be a wake up call for everyone.
There are an abundance of Internet Businesses that you could
consider starting. It would be in your best interests to find something you are
interested in and have a strong passion before venturing any further. More good
news is home business opportunities are relatively inexpensive. After accepting
the challenge of starting a business you need to decide on what kind of home business
to start. If you plan on starting your business on the Internet from scratch, you
need to begin doing some serious market research as well as making plans on building
your own website.
On the other hand, if you choose a home business opportunity
offered by a network marketing company, you are provided with a website,
training on using their programs, 24/7 support and other valuable resources
needed to achieve success. This way is inexpensive, practical and you do not
need much in the way of technical skills, initially.
Now you must create a business plan and then act on it. Use
your plan as a guide or map to arrive at your goal of success with your
business. Without that plan you will be like a ship at sea without a rudder;
just drifting about without any direction.
There are a lot of people who procrastinate about starting a
home business and never get around to starting one. Some people actually start
a business on the Internet, but do not succeed at first and simply give up.
They never give it a second chance and were probably so close they could have
touched it. Persistence is very important in any worthwhile endeavor.
Serious minded entrepreneurs prepare for a home business
opportunity which makes them more likely to succeed. Those who are not
committed after making the decision to start a business on the Internet usually
fail.

and the Internet is the premier choice for communication for most individuals
and businesses. To capitalize on opportunities offered on the Internet, you
will need a computer with broadband Internet connection and a working knowledge
of operating your computer and using the Internet. Now you are ready to start

I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet.
Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology.
I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business.

5. Request an analysis from an Internet marketing coach or Internet marketing consultant.

Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It?
- HI,
I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business.
It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.
