Why You Should Consider Starting a Home Based Business





We are told by the government and news media that this deep recession or depression depending on how you look at it, is supposedly recovering, but the unemployment rate is now in double digits. Well, it may be recovery for some, but not the average citizen, the little guy and gal who continue to suffer with no relief in sight. Is that reason enough for starting a home based business?

As this so-called recovery moves forward, new businesses are being launched, but they are not hiring because they can easily outsource jobs and then there is automation and the Internet.

The economy can make you financially free if you know what to do. Looking for a job is not the answer, but starting a home business on the Internet is.

You need to consider starting a home business because:

• If you have a job, you are working to make someone else rich or wealthy and when the job ends, the income stops.

• The current unemployment statistics is now in double digits; a little more than 10 percent

• Jobs are still being outsourced with no end in sight and if you still have a job, how long will that last, considering the current economic climate.

• A home business on the Internet is allowed tax breaks like any legitimate business; you can deduct your mortgage or rent payments, computer equipment, household utilities, transportation costs and many other deductions

• You are your own boss and the buck stops with you

• You get to spend quality time with your family

• You do not have to fight commute traffic to your office

• You do not need to have a business license or pay any local, state or federal fees to run your business

• An advanced university degree or any college education is not necessary and your earning potential is unlimited

Furthermore, you need to consider starting a home based business because it is a recession-proof business that you can pass on to your heirs. You cannot do that working for someone else, whether government or private industry.

Business Innovation - Hi Simon If you can finish off the Business Plan and think about your strategic direction or how you are going to use your product to convince people it's a great idea, it will set the foundation for your programming project. You see, when you are looking for funding you will need a Business Plan and Strategic Plan that will convince companies to invest into your new idea. Has anyone achieved this idea before using another industry besides health and fitness that you know of? You should also design some mockups as a "preview" for your programming project. This will also help reduce your programming costs as everyone will know exactly what you want if you have detailed mockups already completed including any functionality you require. Starting mockups for websites and software applications on paper is the best way if you're not a guru in graphic editing software.

The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
