If you want to be more effective when you sell information online an autoresponder will help you. It is a tool that will allow you to make more money on the internet more effectively.

1. Automates the sales process. There are many parts of your sales process that you can automate with an autoresponder. It should include a link to the email address for your autoresponder so that they can get a number of exposures from you. Repeated exposures results in more visitors buying from you. Another great way to automate the sales process is to add product testimonials and descriptions to your email series.


2. Distribute advertising. If you sell advertising as part of how you sell information online, autoresponders can help as well. You can set up your autoresponder to send out ad rates and instructions on how to place an ad. You can also have your autoresponder follow-up for you. You can also promote any special deals or offers that you have.

3. Promote an email course. One of the best uses of an autoresponder is to create an email course. Make sure the course includes content that is of value, not a sales pitch. Doing this will help you make sales. It also can include tips and techniques that give your prospects an idea of the type of information you offer and how they can benefit from it. You want to include the features and more importantly the benefits of your product. You also want to ask your prospects to buy from you towards the end of your emails.

5. Promote reminders. Most people are busy these days and need to be reminded of your presence. An autoresponder allows you to draft timely reminders that you can send to interested prospects for your business. You can use these reminders to point to a special offer you might have, promote other products they might not know about or even diversify your income by promoting affiliate products.

Autoresponders! Autoresponders! - Great suggestion Stephen! I use Awebber for my newsletter system and find that it's a pretty good system and very price effective. You get unlimited use for a really low monthly fee. I haven't used Autoresponders to date but might consider it after your post! Thanks!
webinars on Autoreponders webinars on Autoreponders - Evan, putting it that way you may have a point - the effort doesn't seem to pay off. If you could score webinars with people you profile I can see word getting around and that driving traffic to your site and exposing them to the content you already have on the site. Based on the types of businesses approaching you to do these webinars you could also have them set the whole thing up and all you are doing is exposing it to the group. Example a webinar on Autoresponders and Email Marketing. I'm sure there are companies out there that will do the whole setup for you.

Think about it, why are you so great? It may be a hard question, but finding the answer can multiply the effectiveness of any advertising or marketing activities you undertake.
