The Benefits Of A Webinar Service Over Teleseminars

This article is a continuation of a series of articles I have been doing featuring webinars. Webinars are my favorite technique in making money online for numerous reasons. Here are a few more great reasons why I believe webinars are the future, not just for home internet businesses such as my own, but for just about every kind of business model.

1. More control over interaction If you want the ultimate control over interaction on a presentation look no further than a webinar. If you have ever tried to interact on a teleseminar you know the challenges. As soon as you try to un-mute the bridge, if you have hundreds of people on the line, a significant amount of background noise and feedback is heard. You cannot even hear any questions being asked. In one case in particular, we heard a guy on the line yelling at his wife. He did not realize we could hear him, but we certainly could because he was not muted. You have very little issues with interaction control on a webinar. You have the ability to field questions with no interruption to the presentation whatsoever. You do not have to worry about dealing with background noise and feedback because everyone remains muted out. You decide who gets to speak and who is silent.
2. No long distance charges This is huge! One reason why people do not get on teleseminars is due to the long distance charges, especially if the caller is from another country. Webinars can be connected to for free. The only requirement for a webinar service is access to the internet. This is important especially if you are going to be making a sales pitch because you do not want the participants calculating long distance charges when deciding whether to buy your product.
3. You can send people directly to your website At the end of your webinar, you have the ability to send your listeners directly to your webpage. If you are going to sell something at the end of a webinar, for example, an information product, you can send people directly to your sales page. On the other hand, if you are running a regular teleseminar, after they hang up the phone, then they have to take the extra steps to go to their computer, get online and go to your website. That is a lot of steps in between. There are many ways your potential customers could get distracted. If they are already on your webinar, boom! They are already on the internet. They are already locked in. All they have to do is go to your website. You can do the same thing with your retail or offline business. If you are telling them how to use your professional services, you can send them directly to an appointment setting on your website.

So the moral of the story? Everyone, regardless of your product, service, or industry, should be using webinars. It does not matter if you have an offline or online business everyone can use webinars.

Re: Service Or Product? Re: Service Or Product? - I agree with starting a Service-based Business in the economy. Here is what I think is critical: 1. Researching that your Service business has a market. 2. Marketing the Service with as much leverage as possible. 3. Product-izing the Service (aka Package Expert Knowledge). This will only help elevate you as "the" expert in your niche and make you accessible to people in different price points.
Re: New SEO Seminar Re: New SEO Seminar - Hi Jeff, I see you are holding another Webinar on 16th Feb. I will be in an aeroplane for most of that day, so I guess I won't be able to attend. Even so, could you fill us in with some details about the form and content your webinars take and what they involve. I have not participated in a webinar and I guess I'm not the only one. Thanks! Re: need pricing help please Re: need pricing help please - here's my opinion that was derived from the person I heard it from (Russell Brunson) I view internet Marketing products as a Ladder. At the bottom of the Ladder is ebooks and at the top is One on One Coaching. so the ladder would look like this starting from the Top ($$$) to Bottom($) One-to-One Coaching ($$$$$$) Workshops ($$$$$) Teleseminars ($$$$) Video($$$) Audio ($$) ebooks ($) I agree with this methodology mainly because of the convenience factor and value from the customers point of view.
Who Said Twitter Doesn't Work...? Who Said Twitter Doesn't Work...? - Last month, the BBC World Service programme, The Strand, featured 21 year-old Icelandic pianist/composer Olafur Arnalds. Arnalds achieved extraordinary success through his internet-led project to compose 7 tunes in 7 days, post them on his website and then post links to it via TWITTER. As a result his website got thousands of visitors eager to listen to his music, catapulting him to fame and bringing his music to the attention of the BBC, who featured an interview with him on the World Service programme, The Strand! So who says Twitter doesn't work? (HINT: It does help if you have something uniquely your own that other people want to get hold of...)

My 26 pages report sell for $9.77
