Top Home Based Business: Finding Your Passion

Different people join home based business opportunities for different reasons.

For some it is the idea of being their own boss. For others it is to become financially independent.

Like Donald Trump says "You'll never get rich working for someone else."

Whatever the reason, you had better have some passion for what you are doing or it will never fly.

I have joined these types of organizations in the past for some of these reasons: tired of the commute, tired of the 9 to 5, tired of someone else (the boss) making decisions for my life, financial security and the list goes on.... Sound familiar?

After working with three MLM type companies and making no money, I thought that it was all just a scam. I thought that there was no money to be made except for the guy at the top of the pyramid. Was it the system? Was it me? With all three so called "opportunities" there was one common denominator. That's right, you guessed it. It was me.

I had an epiphany that really slapped me in the face and that was that I didn't have passion for what I was doing. But how passionate can you become about consumable products that you can buy at Costco for a third of the price anyway?

It wasn't until I found my passion that things started to change for me. What I learned about myself is that my passion is helping others achieve their goals. To celebrate with others their successes that

I have helped them achieve became my motivator.

What is your passion? How do you find your passion?

Following are some ways to help you find your passion:

Dare to dream. Money is no object now that you have made the changes. You are a better person for doing so and life is wonderful. Make this your passion, your future self. Your current situation is temporary if you choose it to be. Make your five year plan your passion and use the 5 things on your list as fuel to keep you driven and focused.

On everything that you are doing at any given moment ask yourself, "Is this going to get me closer to my goal?" If the answer is no, stop doing it and do something that will.

Now the big question. Do you have any challenges or problems in your life the $20K a month wouldn't cure? Me neither.

Now I'm not saying that money makes you happy but I think that if I am going to be miserable, I may as well be miserable rich. Wouldn't you agree?

Saying that, I have found an opportunity where I can exercise my passion and help others achieve their goals on their way to true fulfillment.

You may want to have a look at it as well. Worst case scenario you learn something new. If you're up to the five minute investment of time, please feel free to have a look at my web site.

Thanks for your time!

Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.
