In this chapter, I will lay out the important key factors that an online business should possess.

If you pull up google and search "Best Online Home Based Business", you will find more or less 10 pages of links consisting of websites, blogs, videos and all sorts of links to different opportunities. The question you would ask yourself is.. Which one is the best and which one really works. Most of them would claim 6 figure income, some would say login to my website and put in your email, name and contact number and all sorts of marketing strategies to capture your attention. I know it makes you overwhelmed that you wouldn't know which is which. Do not keep your credit card beside you and start purchasing all that you think is good. Research about the company first and view at least ten opinions from different people. If the reviews don't turn out to be good, dump it and search for the next one. I would like to warn you though that sometimes, the reviews will give you a bad opinion and at the end of the review, the writer will recommend a website saying this is the best opportunity there is. These guys do not have professionalism and try to give a bad name to competitors... if its a business, there are competitors.

When you finally found a legit and an opportunity that may have good reviews... Look for these things outlined below. If possible have a chat with the person in charge and ash about the key factors listed out below. Do not just give in to promises or attractive words like, You can earn a six figure income in just a week. Its not true! They just want your money.

A. PRODUCT

- The product should be something that you will benefit from even without the business. Is the product a need or a facade? Is the product over priced? Is it marketable? Who is the target market? Is it international or local?

B. MARKETING SYSTEM

- A system is very important. Just like McDonalds's, they have a system that works that is why people keep buying and the business keep running. Has the system been proven by real people?. How does the system work? Just like any company, it will not run without a system.

C. SUPPORT

- Without support, you will fail. As a matter of fact, 97% of online business and traditional business fail because no one is there to guide people do the business the RIGHT WAY! Look for the team that actually are successful, that way, they will guide you and even give you a step by step program if possible. This is a very good advantage as your learning curve is shortened because your mentor knows the things that does not work when it comes to business. The best way to be a successful entrepreneur is to follow exactly what the successful entrepreneurs do. Question is are they willing to share it with you.

D. LEADERSHIP

- How strong is the leadership team? What are their goals for you? Will they disappear when they get your money? Are they really leaders in the internet marketing industry? Search for videos and articles about your leader. If the pastor does not know where to go or is not experienced, guess what happens to the sheep.

These are the major key factors you should look for when planning to start on online business. Keep in mind that being successful in all kinds of business takes a lot of time and effort. Do not ever think that once you in thats it, everything will fall into place and money will start coming in. That does not exist.
