Best MLM companies - why people are still failing!

As a successful entrepreneur your income is derived from doing one thing and one thing only - selling your products and/or business opportunity to others.

How you do this successfully is by communicating with your customer and finding out what it is they want - not you - THEM. Spending time with them and understanding how you can help them achieve achieve what they want. Shift the focus to them and present your business opportunity honestly and effectively if you want to build a successful career in internet marketing. Get this ingrained in your brain and never forget it.

Communication is a two lane highway - it's about articulating your message clearly and giving your full attention and focus to your prospect. By doing this you will hear what they want you to hear, instead of what you want to hear. If you accomplish this you are well on your way to becoming a leader and others will want to work with you.

During the process of communication it is easy to send mixed messages. When this happens and conversation is misinterpreted, a breakdown occurs and the result will be a missed opportunity to connect with your prospect. Both parties will be left feeling confused and disappointed and the opportunity will be gone for you both.

Think back to the time when the business opportunity was presented to you. What made you decide to go with your sponsor?

Did he/she keep clear lines of communication open at all times and was he/she able to answer your questions in a friendly, competent and professional manner?

Did you feel confident that this person could guide and train you to achieve the same success as they had?

Did the conversation flow and could you ask everything about the business without feeling like you were taking up too much of their valuable time?

Did they direct you to more information?

Did they inspire you? Did you feel excited when you finished the call?

If you can answer yes to all of the above, you are definitely in the right place at the right time and that moment can indeed be quite magical. This is the real art of communicating.

When you express yourself effectively you will attract the attention and respect of others. If you are able to speak your mind and listen openly to the views of others, you will notice a difference in the way others perceive you. If you are confident and project a friendly well informed image you will command respect and attention.

Re: What would you do if you knew you could not fail? Re: What would you do if you knew you could not fail? - That is such an awesome question. When I stopped to think about it the thing that came to mind was something that is probably a little different from what you might expect in this forum post but here it is... I would home school my son. If I knew that I could do it without failing to also give him the social and life lessons that come from attending a traditional school. If I knew that I could do it without failing to teach him every subject to its highest standards and in a way that would foster a lifelong excitement to learn instead of boredom and burnout. If I knew that I could do it so that I could teach him to be an entrepreneur and a rich man in control of his finances instead of an employee at the mercy of the job market. That is what I would do if I knew I could not fail! He is only 18 months old so I have some time....!!! Thank you so much Evan, for the great question. I am a firm believer that if you ask yourself questions in a positive light, your mind will find the answers.
Re: What would you do with your last $1000? Re: What would you do with your last $1000? -
If your business was struggling and you were down to your last $1000 in your business bank account and you still had savings in your personal chequing account, what would you do with that $1000?[/quote:i5h604q8] Well... it always depends on why the business is struggling! If it's just a downtime with hope of an economic upturn just around the corner, I'd reinvest the $1,000 in the business. If I'd been struggling for years and there was just no interest in the business at all... I'd give it up and go out and buy something fun! I think there's a thread around here somewhere... when should you know [i:i5h604q8]when [/i:i5h604q8]it's time to get out of a failing business, or is there always hope to turn a failing business around...
Re: Who to profile next? Re: Who to profile next? -
Hi Kevin - thanks for the compliment but I believe we're just scratching the surface. Think about all the big companies out there that are brand names now - they all started with one or two people and a dream and I would love to be able to tell their stories![/quote:2ojzvirg] Sure there's tons of big companies and brands... but what is your definition of a "Famous" entrepreneur? i.e. how do you make the distinction between successful companies/brands and "famous" ones?
Re: Desirable services Re: Desirable services - It is easier in this climate to start a business. The bigger guys are failing and their competitor are not picking up the pieces efficiently.
Re: Invoicing Re: Invoicing -
Hi All I was reading an interesting article when I was in my bank the other day. It said that more and more companies are now charging interest on invoices that are paid late. Does anyone use this method? I think it could damage your relationship and decrease anymore work with the client? What do you think? Its a tough choice...[/quote:243h82ue] That's always been a common practice in businesses I managed and companies I dealt with. Utility companies and many other businesses do it all the time. There can be some exceptions, but its a good practice to have in place. It is a definite way to encourage people to pay on time. If there is a good reason not to pay a bill on time, then the fees can be waived. You can also take a page from the credit card companies and charge interest and a past due charge for delinquent accounts. Shri
