You create your own reality by what you think about - imagine being able to do anything you want simply by thinking your way to it. Well, it's really quite simple.

We have all been put on this earth to do one thing – live our lives to the best of our ability, to help others, to experience absolute happiness and to depart this mortal coil with no regrets – at least this is what I believe.

The world in which we now live is changing at an accelerating rate and we find ourselves having to invest time and education in new ideas, new ways of thinking, new technology, new inventions, new disciplines and new methods of marketing if we are to succeed in the home based online business industry.

Above and beyond all this new stuff that bombards you on a daily basis, you need to get clear and focused on one very important aspect if you want to imagine yourself a millionaire in your home based online business. And this one absolute essential element to achieve is “definiteness of purpose”.

This is the unquestionable knowing and belief in what you want and a burning desire to possess it.

The way to get the results from your home based online business is best broken down into six steps. This formula was first used by Andrew Carnegie and was the inspiration for the now famous book ''Think and Grow Rich'' by Napoleon Hill.

Step 1. Decide what you want to achieve from your home based online business. Let's use an example of money because that's what why we all work and most people I know seem to want more. You need to be very definite about the amount you want.

Step 2. You have to do something to get something back – we all know that. The old familiar saying “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” is true. You have to determine what you are willing to give in return for ''the prize''.

Step 3. It is imperative you put a date on when you intend to possess the money you desire in your online business. This needs to be a realistic time rame. If you have never set goals before or not had any success with goal setting in the past, you can’t expect to manifest say $500,000 in six months time – it doesn’t work that way. It takes practice.

Step 4. A detailed action plan on how you are going to bring this money about is the next requirement.You must put this plan into action immediately – don’t wait until you think you are ready – just get a plan and get going.

Step 5. You will need to write down in a clear, concise statement the amount of money you intend to receive, give it a time limit to manifest and then list down what you will do in return. You will also need to describe clearly the plan by which you intend to accumulate this money.

Step 6. Once you are happy with your statement which will include your desired amount of money, the date you intend to receive it and an action plan, write it out and put it somewhere where you will see it first thing in the morning and last thing at night before you go to bed. You will need to read this statement our loud twice a day, morning and evening, first when you wake up and last thing before you go to sleep.

And here’s the secret – as you read it, learn to see it, feel it and believe yourself to already be in possession of the amount of money you want to make in your online business. You might find at first that it’s hard to actually see yourself taking possession of your vision, but the more you practice, with feeling and incorporating all the senses, you will get better.

Put some movement and colour into your vision, sounds, smells, feelings, music, laughter or whatever it takes to work for you. You need to start thinking of your mind like a muscle that gets stronger as you train and develop it. When you develop and possess a burning desire for your prize, you will have no difficulty in convincing yourself you already have it. When you do this and you can see it, feel it and believe it, it becomes your reality.

Time spent - I log into this site at least once (sometimes twice) for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and that's at least 6 days a week. I work a full time job and also work independently, running a home based business and also assist my husband with his home based business...I also have 2 kids under the age of 14 and one 20 year old, so i'm generally very busy and don't have a ton of time to be here more than that. I believe too much time spent on the internet in general is not healthy and had to cut back on my childrens time online, as one saturday when I was especially busy, I realized they had been on for 6 hours straight! so now I only allow each of them to get 2 hours a day.
Insurance for Home Based Business? - Apparently homeowners insurance and liability insurance may not be enough to cover your at home based business. Especially if you are running the business out of a detached garage or other dwelling on your property. Does anyone have another type of business insurance for their home based business or know anything about this?
