Google Placement – How to Dominate front page for free!

As an internet marketer you need to understand the power of Google. If you have been around the network marketing industry for a while you will probably be spending a bunch of money using PPC. If you are new to internet marketing, or on a budget, you are about to see how you can get front page google placement using completely free marketing techniques. It will take your time but not your money.
First of all spend some time researching your keyword thoroughly – try to get something optimized for less than 300,000 – if you can narrow it down and get something under this figure - you will increase your chances significantly to dominate the front page. Be mindful, your keyword is very important and if you don't yet understand keywords, there is plenty of information around – so educate yourself.
Now the trick is to start building your content around your keyword – you can do this in any order. The important thing here is the amount of content you submit by using a blend of the following marketing strategies. It is the quantity and blend of techniques that will get you front page Google placement.
Articles – Write a couple of articles that are keyword rich and always remember to give valuable information to your readers. Submit to as many article directories as you can and give a lot of attention to your resource box.
Blog – A short post on your blog will help you to build up content and lay the foundation for google placement on page one.
Videos – Just one or two videos of not more than three minutes each and you are now really starting to cement your placing. Submit your videos to YouTube and Traffic Geyser for maximum coverage.
Web 2.0 (social media) – Be concise and consistent with this and again give out good information, particularly on Facebook.
Facebook - Don't spend your time giving out hearts, goats and cherry trees. You are running a business and you need to focus on getting sales. Never spam anyone and always try to post interesting content about yourself, your family and other topics you think will interest others. People will be attracted to you if they know you have a life!!
Twitter – You can be more sales pitchy with Twitter and really start to promote yourself. But again, remember to tweet stuff that is fun, informative, valuable, interesting and always with the intent to attract someone to you, not sell them something.
And that's all you need to do. If you get the formula right and you promote your content correctly, you can anticipate your sure and steady climb all the way to google placement on the front page. I can assure - it is very exciting and a brilliant way to generate leads for free.
When you have dominated the front page with your keyword, go back to the beginning, find a new keyword and repeat the process.

I have started signing up all my clients for Google Local. People are amazed that in two weeks they can have #1 listings for competitive local kewords. Tip: Don't stop by adding just one ad. As long as each page of your website is different and optimized for different keywords you should create multiple ad words for each page. Example: Type in "Minneapolis web development" in Google. You will notice we have two listings. One for our home page & one for our mission page. They are both optimized for "Minneapolis web development" so Google will approve both listings / ads. Jeff

The juice is typically not worth the squeeze in these cases. Unless you are a big brand name site and are committed to investing the time and money into really getting onto that first page, I would suggest moving to a different keyword. If half of the listings or fewer have the keywords then it's a decent one to target. It may take work to get to the #1 position but at least you have a good chance of getting on the first page. If you don't hit page one then you won't get many hits from Google.

Zeke, would you advise an affiliate marketer to send visitors from a PPC ad straight to an affiliate page or to a "product review" page, or squeeze page first?
