What are most of the world's population lying awake at night worry about - Health and Finances

Article Overview: Let's take a look at the two biggest issues most people have in their lives today and how it is costing them. According to a Louis Harris poll (1997) 96% of people in the United States are lying awake at night worrying about two things - health and finances. Health - hey are worrying about their family's, their friends and their own. Finance - they are worrying about their job, their mortgage, their credit card debt and how to provide for their future. So how can people start to live well without these worries? And what does living well mean for you and your family? For some it's being able to holiday for a month, for others it's having more time to spend with family, some want to lead a simple life and make day to day decisions without having to worry about finances and for others, it's having good health and piece of mind.

What is your picture of good living and are you currently experiencing it? Do you get up with a smile on your face happy to start a new day, or do you drag yourself out of bed wishing you had more energy, more time, more money and more choices. It's been written many times - most of us are living a life of mediocrity, just getting by, wracked with debt, and having to work harder than ever before to make ends meet.

Everyone today leads busy lives and there are many pressures put on all of us. These pressure may be what's preventing you from having the quality of life you deserve. Most likely you are working longer hours than you ever have before, precious hours that take you away from spending quality time with your family and loved ones. It's very likely this is having an impact on your health. And when it comes to finances, many of us are working two jobs and still living from week to week, trying to hold it all together to stay afloat. Some of us are even finding ourselves close to retirement age with no nest egg and still working and living from week to week. No wonder we're awake at night trying to figure out what to do. An opportunity to change all this is the business model of network marketing. It offers the potential to change your life in an extremely enjoyable and satisfying way, to anyone willing to put in some hard work up front for some very substantial rewards in the not to distant future.

I heard a story that had tremendous impact on me and influenced my decision to become a network marketer - it went like this. A surgeon will have to study for ten years to learn the skills to practice. A whole decade dedicated to study before any earnings can be made. In the first year of practice, there is the potential to earn $250,000 in the first year, which sounds like a huge income, but remember how long it took to study and the amount of monetary investment (not to mention time) it took, to gain the knowledge and expertise for these earnings. I know people who have been successful in network marketing and have made this kind of money and more, in their first 18 months of working in a home based business. Isn't that incredible?

This really got me thinking about my life and my future. What would it take for me to earn that kind of money in 1-2 years time without a commitment of ten years up front. Another potential advantage of network marketing is leveraging time and money. You have the opportunity to benefit from the combined efforts of your team, just like a traditional business. Your long term income potential is based on the percentage of all products sold within your organisation. So you don't have to do all the hard work by yourself. It makes perfect sense....Here's an example - if you work 30 hours/week and you have 100 people in your team all working 30 hours a week, the math is simple, that's 3,000 hours of work a week by a combined team of people all working towards the same goal. Some people ask "is the person at the top the only one making money". No, in my business, everyone has the same opportunity to achieve regardless of when you start or how many people you enrol in your team.

That's the beauty of network marketing. Today, more than ever, people are looking for ways to get control of their health and their financial future so they can sleep easy at night, and when you find an opportunity that will give you control over both of these, your life will certainly take on a new meaning. You will have something rare and unique, a life of your own creation, a life that is lived every day to the full, rather than just going through the motions. Network marketing is a business structure that creates an efficient way to move products directly from the company to the consumer. It's a 'word of mouth' or 'trust marketing' based on developing personal relationships.

Network marketing removes many of the middle men typical in traditional businesses and reduces the number of people or activities that split the profits. If 96% of people are lying awake at night worrying about health and finances, how much value can you add to the quality of their life by utilising products and an opportunity that addresses both of these worries.

I work with a very inspiring team of network marketers who hold the motto "as we serve offers, we become free". This speaks volumes about the ethics and quality of the people involved in my team. Our success is due to the proven training and marketing system provided for us and the ongoing support we give to others to assist them in building their businesses and enjoying a life of good health and financial freedom.

Re: Getting up earlier - Hi Julie, I tried going to bed a bit sooner but just lay there awake so tried switching off the PC and sitting quietly for 10 mins to wind down. Next thing I've dozed off in the chair and it's 1.00 a.m. Guess it's just me but I can't go to bed before midnight and am always awake at 6.00 so I guess I am just a hopeless case, LOL, sleep well !! regards, Mal.
Re: Are Economic Recessions Good for Franchising? - All we can do is remain wide awake and pay attention to the ebb and flow. My strategy is to be prepared and go with the flow. There could be some rough times ahead... Interestingly, our business has remained strong. I believe it's because we're in such a tight little niche and we're well positioned to sign jobs nationwide, therefore we're not restricted to location. We also target affluent markets that have higher disposable incomes - this we do locally. Here are some Franchise Categories that could weather a good recession... Health and Personal Care Food services like Subway Debt Collection Tax Preparers & Advisors Any other recession proof franchise opps out there?
