4 Network Marketing Strategies

If you are into network marketing, you need to have your own personal marketing strategies to achieve your goals. While there are trainings and seminars from which the potential clients and down line prospects can learn from, you still need to find ways to make their appearance on the said events. Here are few of them:

1. Know your products well. If the company offers several products, you can start focus your attention, resources and energy to few of them. Choose the ones that have the most impact to the consumers. Know which products are saleable to people. To achieve this, you need to know what appeals to people’s interests, or the trends.

There are many ways to do it. You can use the internet to know what kind of products people always searched for. Most likely, you will find products for weight loss, cosmetics, anti-ageing products, the latest gadget and hair re-growth products.

You also need to know the trend in your local area. When you are sure which products would sell, master the skills of introducing the benefits of a certain product. Your sales talk must be convincing and simple. Do not exaggerate.

2. Develop good communication skills. Learn to reach out to the consumers. Acquire the skills in catching the attention of people. This is very important in network marketing because you have to convince consumers to buy your brand. There are many approaches to use depending on your audience. Know how to adjust your tone, theme and approach that are best in conveying the right message to your listeners.

Whether you are doing the talk on the phone, in front of many people during seminars, sending a marketing e-mail, or chatting with your friends online, you need to have different approaches, in order to be effective.

3. Target your market. This is closely related to the first strategy. When you know which product you are confident to sell, you will also know which people to approach. For example, if you want to focus on slimming products, then you know that you need to approach people who need them.

If you want to focus selling anti-ageing cream, then you have to approach people—men or women—ranging from middle age to late early fifties. Some, approach individuals who are on their late twenties or early thirties to have a strong foundation on their skin health.

4. Reach out. Go out of the conventional way just to reach out to your potential clients. Because you are in network marketing, it is your obligation to inform people about the benefits of your products. Create a need out of it. 5. Know the four personality types of people. In order to be effective in network marketing, you need to master the four different personality types. It is beneficial to determine which approach fits. There four types of personality are dominant, inspiring, supportive, and cautions.

Dominant people want recognition for their achievement. The best strategy is to get straightforward and be confident. Maintain your self-control. Be dignified. Inspiring people want to be always on the spotlight. The best strategy is to listen to them. Build relationship. Find mutual ground, relate and establish rapport.

Supportive people prefer sincere appreciation. To convince them, you need to use several testimonials and talks from successful members. Finally, cautious individuals find details to be important. They are also always right. To win the over with your product, you need to emphasize on the structure, the pay plan. Use figures and facts.

My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.
