Network Marketing is all about selling and earning. If you are a distributor, you are entitled to avail the discount price of the company’s product. When you sell them to consumers, the prices are different—they are already marked up. The amount that makes the mark up price goes to your pocket.

In order to be successful at network marketing, we listed here 7 brilliant ideas.

1. Set goals. Make it your mission never to let a day pass without involving in your marketing strategies. Devise a plan to work out on your marketing scheme. Carry with you at all times your business cards. You can also collect and compile other marketing ideas which you can use later.

2. Target your market. Keep abreast of the updates and trends of the market and the products. It will be helpful if you acquire knowledge on your chosen market, product, and industry. You can also make use of the internet usenet newsgroup or a list-serve that serves the target market to know their needs. 3. Provide information and resources. If you have your own website, you can offer free services to your target market or potential clients, information which may move them to buy your products. You can publish articles relevant to your niche. Of course, you need to stay with the facts. People are aware of scams and outrageous claims associated with network marketing.

4. Set your Pricing and payment mode. Many successful network marketers expand the limits of their horizons as far as payments are concerned. Be flexible. Offer financing or installment plans. Offer also a way to pay through credit cards.

Offer premiums or discounts when they purchase more than one product, or when they purchase a a minimum amount—whether accumulated or one time. 5. Media Relations. Publish an article about your product in a newspaper, magazine or local business journal or trade publication. If it is impossible to write the article on your own, you can ask a friend who is a columnist or contributor to do it for you.

If you do not have a friend who writes for magazines or newspapers, it is time to get one. Others would recommend treat for lunch the editor of newspapers. This is a good way to establish rapport with them and to win them over for your favor. You can also introduce to them your products or niche. You can also appear on TV or Radio talk show to introduce your products to consumers. Television and Radio stations are two media institutions that are effective in drawing attention from the masses. This is particularly beneficial to network marketing.

6. Offer good customer service. Train yourself or your staff how to get out of their way just to extend customized customer care. There are many ways to do it. If a customer called but was unable to talk to you, return the call. Make it a standard spiel to encourage the clients to “come again” to your store.

If you have articles that may be of interest to them , you can make a photocopy of it and send it to your customers with their names on it.

7. Special events. Trade shows and exhibits are a good venue to fire up your network marketing. Offer discounts, free testing of your products, and freebies when they purchase a minimum amount.

My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.

10 best franchises to get involved 10 best franchises to get involved - My advice is: 1) Go to the library and start reading business books (accounting, finance, etc.) 2) Go to your local community college and enroll in night classes 3) Join the local Chamber of Commerce 4) Network / Network / Network -- through the above sources. Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.
Re: answer this question Re: answer this question - This is a good topic. I haven't done anything, yet, to seriously damage my business. I did shift gear though. It was the best decision I ever made. For me, affiliate marketing was not working. Making the switch to Network Marketing made all the difference.
