There are two basic approaches to stock trading. The first on is on the floor, and the second one is electronic. The exchange on the floor is best manifested in movies and TV program, in which people rush in—shouting and gesturing to one another, talking on the phones, watching monitors, and entering data into terminals—the moment the market is open.

Before the markets close at the end of the day, and after accommodating all the trading, the markets prepare for the next day’s chaotic activities. With this approach, the stock trading works in 4 steps.

First, you inform your broker to purchase 100 shares of stocks (of a certain company) at the market. Then the broker transmits the order to their floor on the exchange, who in turn, informs another floor trader who is willing to sell 110 shares of stock you have in mind. The two individuals agree on a price and close the deal.

Depending on the market, the notification may take a few minutes or longer. However, after few days, you will receive an e-mail notification. Whose stocks are earning and for how much are two considerations to achieve massive profits.

The second approach is the electronic trading. The electronic markets are using computer networks to match the buyers and sellers. It is efficient and fast as well. It lacks the physical activities of the traders who do the exchange on the floor. The New York Stock Exchange prefers this approach while the NASDAQ opts for floor exchange.

You will still need a broker to handle your trades because you do not have access to the electronic markets while the brokers do. When your broker accesses the market, the network and the system will find a buyer or a seller depending on your trade order.

You often receive instant confirmation on your e-mail. Moreover, it facilitates control of online investing by putting you a step closer to the stock market.

If you are not too confident to invest on stocks immediately, you may first practice on trading simulators. Hone your skills without the risks of losing actual money on stock trading simulators. Many individuals who currently achieve massive profits through stock trading had first practised on the simulators for free.

You can prefer to use online stock trading services like the Ameritrade, E*trade, and tradeking. From these services you can learn to exchange stocks faster and more efficiently. Transactions are all initiated over the internet in real-time.

It can make your site look very professional, you can completely change design in just a few clicks of your mouse, and if you add anything to a panel you can display it throughout your site... Also, Joomla does seem to suck in traffic. My traffic stats improved with Joomla, probably because of the interactive features it offers, such as the article directory feature and so on. However, I also experienced various frustrations with Joomla. HTML is simpler and you have complete control over your site, but you do have to recode every page when you make design changes... (unless you are prepared to learn CSS and then deal with all the browser problems...) Also, I market the Plug-In Profits Site and came to the conclusion that it would be better business practice to show my potential customers what can be done with a Plug-In Profits site by using one myself and modifying it to suit my purposes. After all, there is no better advertisement for a product than the fact that the seller also uses it! On the other hand, I know a lot of Internet marketers who love Joomla, so I think it is just a matter of choosing what works best for you. ... Re: Drop out Billionaire - I reveived Bill Bartmann's DVD "9 Steps To Achieve Any Goal" as part of my monthly pack from Success University a few months back. It is a great presentation. I've watched it several times but not for a while so I'll view it again in the coming week. He is one of the greats. Like the best success mentors, he speaks with authority because he has come through much tribulation. His program sounds like a great bargain at $100 a year.
Walmart - Hi there, It is amazing to hear that news. I am in the UK. Some five years ago Walmart bought ASDA Superstores. We do most of our shopping there. So I have a little interest in Walmart. Eearlier this year I spend a few weeks in the US. I visited Walmart on several occasions. I was impressed, as they have one section for Massive Bulk Purchases. One needs a registration for that priviledge. Are other Markets doing the same? Is that a growing section? It is quite natural that there are competitors. Re: What to do at the first roadblock? - Do you want the real number or what I tell my wife??? Presently one business that has three distinct product lines that cater to the transportation industry. I find myself looking at other markets that are much larger than what we service... Entrepreneurs for example... how many are there out there compared to transportation companies? Massive market that's tough to overlook... Ask Evan! There are many markets like this and if one is constantly thinking about it, eventually a business idea comes up that requires some additional thought. But... as per the theme of this thread, roadblocks happen for a reason and you either choose to find a way around it or turn around and look for another route as the road after the roadblock might be a little rough!!!
