Effective Methods To Generate Good Quality Leads

Good quality leads are more than a contact details. They represent your future clients. When you regard leads, look beyond their names, phone numbers, and home and office addresses. Understand that there is a real person behind such information.

Leads are money. Like us, they have families, jobs, interests and needs. When used appropriately, they can generate income for your business. While there are many resources available on the web on how to generate good quality leads, most of the business owners are lured into buying them.

Buying leads is not lucrative. It does not guarantee sales results; and so is a waste of money. There are many reasons why they should never be bought. But the ultimate of it all is that they are not targeted. The name and contact details that are provided to you are not the people whom should be interested in your products, no matter how best your offer is.

Hence, the best ways to get good quality leads are:

1. Designing lead-capture pages. Websites are the best platform to produce a quality lead. Design it to make your visitors and or customers want for more. Before they exit your site, ensure that they left you their name, e-mail address, or contact number. Give them good reasons to give you the information that you are longing for.

You can become their mentor or coach on the subject that interests them. Offer them free helpful information through e-mail on a regular basis. This way, you are offering your help and guidance. It is also a good way to establish good relationship with your clientele, and to earn their trust and respect.

2. Encourage your visitors to contact you. Provide ways to reach you—either by e-mail or by toll free number. Let them know that you are willing to talk to them of whatever concerns they may have. Or if they want to suggest something, incite them to contact you.

3. Conclude your ad copy with a strong and irresistible offer. In most ad copies, the writers emphasize the benefits of their products or services, after they have established the need for it. In effect, the ad copies present the problem, and provide the solution at the same time.

For example, you can use: to have full access to the information, “send for 65-page e-book”, “lose 10 pounds in ten days without starving for $25.00”, “avail our free trial offer”. While your chance of making an immediate sale is vague, you can compensate for it by getting the contact details.

4. Get good quality leads by requesting your visitor or prospect to e-mail a form to you or send back a letter with the company’s letterhead. There is no need for you to offer premium items or freebies. Include a poll, bounce-back, and questionnaire or ask them to write feedback or comments every time you send a publication regarding your product.

Successful online entrepreneurs are resourceful and creative. They never give up even when things are not turning favorably to them. Creating a well-structured strategy to create good quality leads is a never-ending process.

I've also used PR Leads (paid program) which got me into the New York Times and Forbes. I haven't done much with online press releases - from what I hear they can help you with your SEO but they don't get much mainstream media attention.
