Go to the local government office and inquire on the requirements for setting up a home-based business in mobile pet grooming. Know the zoning licenses and business permits, and accomplish all legal requirements.

Since you will be handling mobile pet grooming, you will need some equipment. Aside from having a van, you will also need a grooming tub, a grooming table, a generator or outdoor cords to provide you access to an outside power supply. You will also need your grooming tools and gear.

Your van should bear the name and logo of your pet grooming business. This can maximize your marketing strategy, particularly when you include your contact details. In choosing a name for your home-based business, it is best to have a friendly and catchy name. It should be something easy for your clients to remember.

Re: Service Or Product? Re: Service Or Product? - I agree with starting a Service-based Business in the economy. Here is what I think is critical: 1. Researching that your Service business has a market. 2. Marketing the Service with as much leverage as possible. 3. Product-izing the Service (aka Package Expert Knowledge). This will only help elevate you as "the" expert in your niche and make you accessible to people in different price points.
