Home-based Business Opportunity for 2010 II

Home-based business provides hope for many who lose their jobs for several reasons. It also provides opportunity for people to succeed in their chosen specialization. Especially at this economic crisis should people start finding another or additional source of income.

People who have the heart for entrepreneurship must carefully analyze their business plan in order to succeed. Part of the business plan are risk management methodology that counter-check the marketing plan.

Home-based business opportunities are many. Some that have high chances of profitability are as follow:

1. Lawn care. For homeowners who have lawns but do not have the time and skills on how to beautify them need the help of the experts. If you are among them, you are great. Most homeowners are busy with their work, family, friends and other engagement that they are willing to spend great amount of money to make their lawns pleasing in appearance.

According to the latest survey, each year millions of Americans hire experts to care for their lawn. If you have the passion for plants and creativity to turn a surrounding into something relaxing and lovely, you are in for the job.

You should have skills in landscaping and knowledge about fertilization and weed control, lawn maintenance and sprinkler maintenance.

2. Children’s party planning services. This home-based business opportunity is only for those who love children and parties. A children’s party planning organizer needs to be fun-loving. Experience is good, however, it is not a primary requirement. If you have been to several children’s parties, you may have knowledge on how they work.

The minimum capital investment to plan for children’s party is $600. However, additional costs are involved to cover other supplies like food and props. People who engage in this humble home-based business can generate an income of up to $36,000 every year.

3. Children’s fitness. Kid obesity is among the health issues faced by most American parents today. Media, genes and lack of parental attention are two factors that cause obesity.

Because of the health hazards posed on these children, many entrepreneurs start their own home-based business offering physical and mental fitness activities ideal for children. There are several types of businesses related to children’s fitness.

Often, they involve young children to inculcate good habits as they grow. Accessories include age-appropriate toys, sport gears, books and equipments. There are also businesses that cater to children of elementary years and teenagers.

The activities include physical exercise as seen on DVDs, and fun music to stimulate them to participate. Children’s fitness is helpful in promoting healthy lifestyle, and in providing a community of health-conscious citizens.

4. Residential cleaning services. Cleaning industry is among the fastest growing businesses in America as more homeowners become busier for several reasons. If you are looking for home-based business on a tight budget, this one is for you.

Your capital goes to buying cleaning supplies and equipment. Most households need cleaning on windows, vacuum cleaning for cobwebs on the four corners of the living room, kitchen, toilet and even garage.

Franchising 'where to advertise?' Franchising 'where to advertise?' - Great Forum. It took me a while to find you, but well worth the efforts... I'm launching a Business Opportunity and I have a few questions that I'm pondering. Mainly where to advertise and what online directories to target. directoryfranchise.com looks good, but I have no idea if they're worth the cost. They want 99.00-199.00 to list my site at up to 40 different listing sites. franchisegator.com and franchiseopportunities.com look solid... any suggestions? I'm currently devoting a significant amount of my time writing articles and plan to submit to the article directories. I'm already seeing good results from the few articles that I have released. My site is up and I have most of the puzzle pieces in place. Any comments on the site, and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.
