Voice broadcasting is a medium used to send messages to thousands of people across continents in a relatively short period of time. As soon as the voice messages are broadcasted to a list of phone numbers, a business can expect to receive hundreds of query calls.

While there are many ways to send voice messages, the most popular is the use of web-enabled system. There is no need to have software or hardware to do it. There is even no maintenance needed. What you need to do is sign up as a customer to a voice broadcast service provider of your choice. You will be given your unique password and user id, which you will need whenever you log in to your account.

You will also be given instructions on how to get started with the services. Once you are logged in, the web-enabled system allows you full access to databases and equipment. You will need the database to store the phone numbers that you would like to call and send voice messages.

Note that your data is given the highest confidentiality. In most cases, the voice broadcast host does not interfere with how you manage your account and databases. They do not have a say on what to do with the call responses.

These are your duties, although, you can request to have detailed reports so you can filter your list, making your broadcast even more lucrative. Relative to the service features, there are hosts that can provide you with ready-to-call phone lists.

The equipment will be used when you record your message. There are also voice broadcasting hosts that do the recording for you, which you will send after you have uploaded the call list.

The schedule for broadcasting can be scheduled based on your preferences. Should you get a busy tone or no answer tone, you can configure the program to initiate redialing task at pre-set time intervals. You can even set the number of times to do the redial. If the number reached by the system is connected to an answering machine or voice mail, your voice broadcast message is left on the machine.

You can even designate particular extensions to dial. If there is someone who will pick the phone up, they have two options. First, they can press a pre-programmed key on their keypad to connect back to your contact center and make a query on your product. Second, they can press another pre-configured key to delete your message from their list.

Compared to e-mail or direct mail marketing, voice broadcast system enables you to reach thousands of potential clients at minimal costs. Moreover, there are no limits to the number of messages you can create and record.

One variation of broadcasting is the interactive voice broadcasting. It allows the call recipients—with the use of their keypad—to respond to questions such as when the company is conducting surveys. This technology is effective when you want to generate feedbacks on certain products and services.
