Understand Voice Broadcasting

Voice broadcasting is a mass communication procedure in delivering pre-recorded phone messages to thousands of call recipients in a short period of time. Broadcast technology is an effective approach for business applications, community alerts and notifications, and even political campaigns.

For business, announcements and advertisements are sent to prospects and clients. People stay connected with each other during political campaigns. When it comes to delivering emergency notifications, voice broadcast is referred to as reverse 911.

Because of its nature, people who use voice broadcasting are able to reach the masses whether they are customers, employees, constituents, subscribers, members, and answering machines. In order to function properly, the process of creating and sending broadcasts need few components.

There should be a source of telephone numbers used for the dialing stage of the broadcasting. The message to be sent must be prepared in digital recording beforehand. To execute the dialing, you may add hardware or software to telephone trunks coursed through a conference bridge or Voice over Internet Protocol.

Voice broadcasting system has a database containing the phone lists and digitally recorded phone messages. With the use of telephony components, the computers can concurrently broadcast thousands of phone messages.

Through the integration of text to speech software, one can include personalized information in the phone messages. The advanced systems involve telephony boards having answering machine detection, and logic to appropriately play a unique message to answering machines without truncation error.

Voice broadcast systems come in varied style. However, in most cases, they are configured to allow each telephone number listed on the database to be dialed at regular intervals until such time when a call is connected.

Voice recognition software makes way for the automated message to begin playing whenever the system detects that the call has been answered. Now, if the call fails to connect because of busy tone, or when there is no answer from the other line, the phone number returns to the queue for redialing after several minutes have lapsed. At most, the systems offer five times of connection attempt before they give up on such phone number.

As we move forward, there are innovation on technology that allow the call recipients of voice broadcasting to reply through touch tone keypads on their phones, or to hear the broadcast again, or be transferred to a live representative. This feature is very helpful in telemarketing campaigns because it can generate sales leads effectively; accumulate information for future references, or to receive feedback on the subject matter of the broadcast.

The interactive voice broadcasting, also known as interactive voice messaging, is a program that allows the call recipient to listen to a recorded message, and interact with the system by pressing certain keys on the keypad.

The system is able to detect which key is pressed. It can also be programmed to interact and play several messages. The actions that can be programmed include information verification, surveys, navigation through a phone menu.

Businesses use voice broadcasting to promote their organization, products or services. There are more qualitative results that are captured by allowing their clients or call recipients to leave their own message.

Voice SMS! Voice SMS! - Ashish, I enjoy sending txt messages and it seems faster to send a Voice one than txt. How do you plan on informing the user that there is a limitation to the amount of voice you can record in a Voice SMS? I believe txt has about 168 character limit.
Voice SMS Voice SMS - Ashish, Is this a Voice message that will be converted to Text and then sent via sms so that the recipient is reading text?
Re: Twitter, Social Networking: What's Your method? Re: Twitter, Social Networking: What's Your method? - Marvelous GT, thanks I see the day coming when the volume of tweets and likes that I see will be labeled spam and have been trying to gather my thoughts on Tweet and Facebook spam! Understand the Facebook has joined with WOT (mywot -website of trust) to raise a response when a link is posted> I have my own issues with WOT and have taken it off my machines Anyone have some thoughts to share ?
Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategies Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategies - It's funny to come across the phrase "don't put all your eggs in one basket" on the first thread I check out - after seeing the exact phrase on a blog about Squidoo's policy changes last year. If you rely on a single strategy - such as, for example, building multiple Squidoo lenses about your affiliate programs, you are effectively at the mercy of the managers of Squidoo. They brought in a much stricter policy about links and spam last year, a lot of lenses were shut down. Even with web hosting it probably makes sense not to rely on a single website or a single web host. What are members' thoughts on the number of marketing methods to employ, and in what percentages? In my case, for one of my games sites, it would be approximately: 1. Website seo, keywords and unique content 40% 2. Blog 25% 3. Forum 15% 4. Article marketing 10% 5. Squidoo 5% 6. Twitter & Facebook 4% 7. Broadcasting to my list - 1% (This needs to be built up...)
Re: Voise SMS feature on mobile...Yes/No Re: Voise SMS feature on mobile...Yes/No - [quote="Ashish":1j8d830z]As far as spam is concerned, how about if you are aware of the destination from where it's arriving. I myself believe if I had to use this form of communication and I have to choose any one of them by spending same, I'd go for the Voice SMS. Anyone else thinks the same or majority people likes to avoid SMS communication.[/quote:1j8d830z] Hi Ashish, If I registered for something like a business seminar or social event, I can see the benefit of being reminded via text message on my cell phone. However, I'd still prefer text over voice SMS because even if you hired a person with the clearest voice to deliver your voice SMS... I'd still need to listen to that message twice to write down the contact person's info/phone number (if it's different than the one used to leave the message). That's a hassle as I may not have a pen and paper down with me.
