Change Can Be A Good Thing

Those of us in the United States have heard a lot about “change” here in the past year and a half. Don’t worry; this is not a political commentary. But there are a couple of other changes I would like to let you know about.

First, did you realize there are more than 1.5 billion people connected to the internet world wide? And that number is increasing by a million people a day. I didn’t start using a computer or going on the internet until I was about 40. My mom now cruises the net. Last night my daughter e-mailed me a picture of my 2 ½ year old grandson who had climbed onto a desk and was moving the mouse around looking for a picture he could color. Talk about change!

We witness the rapid expansion of the internet while at the same time we watch traditional brick and mortar businesses fail in record numbers. Forbes magazine recently reported that 40 million people will be starting home based businesses in the next 3-5 years. Although they didn’t give a percentage that would be internet based, I would say the number would be pretty significant.

With that information in hand, I was interested in making a change to keep up with the times. I was somewhat skeptical due to the fact that at that point my computer skills had been pretty much limited to e-mail, searches, excel and word. While searching home based online business opportunities, I discovered a turn-key system which focuses on online network marketing education, just what this grandpa needed. It provides, if you will, an MBA of future online network marketing.

I made the change and am now riding the wave of the future. I have a legitimate online marketing business which has changed my whole life. I now have the ability to leverage my time, do the things I most enjoy doing when I want. My lifestyle has been vastly improved.

I have word set to alert me about misspellings and grammatical problems, so I fix most as I go. But I also add names etc to the dictionary because I get tired of seeing the red and green squiggles when I know the info is right. If you're only going to click "Change" or "Ignore" then why bother to take the time to use spell check????? Business people that I work for want the info compiled in a timely manner and they want it right - which is fine because that's the way I strive to do any project. Sending out a memo, letter, report etc with obvious spelling and grammatical mistakes makes the person and the company look bad as far as I'm concerned. Shri

Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers - Hi GT It is only fairly recently that people in South Africa have been able to get full use of Paypal as we were only able at one time to make payments but not receive them. Fortunately this has now changed. I have received money through Global X Change for one of the affiliate programs that I promote and have found them pretty good as the money is normally transferred directly into my bank account within 2-3 days and I have not had any problems with them.
