Fellow Baby Boomers

It has been one heck of a ride so far, hasn't it? Did you know that there were 76 million Americans born into our group? We have seen the Cuban missile crisis, assassinations of JFK, RFK, And Martin Luther King,JR. We have witnessed man walking on the moon, The Viet Nam War including the draft and the dodgers, and the tearing down of the Berlin Wall. Many have been involved in social experimentation, sexual freedom, drug experimentation, civil rights and women's movements.

As of ten years ago, it was reported that we boomers were ignoring the realities of life as it relates to our aging, retirement and demise. Few have done much long term planning and may be placing undue economic burdens on their children. A recent poll of boomers asked the following question, "Will you have enough to retire?" The sad response was; NO 42%, MAYBE 31% and YES 27%

Until recently, I was a member of the majority, a NO. But I really didn't wabt to place additional financial burdens on my children - it seems to me the government is doing a good enough job of that without my help! Besides, I want to be able to help my children with financial issues.

I have lost over $250K in the equity of my home in the past three years and my 401K dipped to four digits. I realized that if I was to become a YES, have the ability to retire and enjoy my golden years, I needed to make a change NOW. I have found the most powerful online system in the world.
