How to Get Started Marketing Your Online Network Business

Whether you are getting ready to start a new online network business, have just started one or already own one that needs a boost in the arm, you need to put it out there for your potential customers to see. Now is a great time to own an online network marketing business as more and more people are looking into this as a result of high unemployment and the failures of so many traditional brick and mortar businesses. But with that also comes additional competition. So how do you set yourself apart from the rest?

The products you represent are certainly one thing, but that is a choice you have to make, based on what you feel comfortable representing. Beyond that, what I want to explain is the one difference you have between you and the others is yourself. You are a unique individual that appeals to a group that I may not appeal to and vice versa. But how do you let possible customers out there know who you are?

The first thing you need to know is who you are. You have a unique story, where you have been and what got you here. Your story creates your own personal brand. Personal branding, according to Mike Koenigs, founder of Traffic Geyser, is of utmost importance.

As you document your story, you need to create trust and establish authority. Let it be known where you have been and what you have done. What pain and hardships have you endured that they can relate to? Then as an authority, point out how you were able to change your life around and are living the life they want to live. People silently want to be led. They want to follow a leader not just join a business.

Distributing your personal brand is your next step. There are many free ways to accomplish this. Article writing, blogs, social media, press releases, videos are but some of the free ways to do this. Within each one of these mediums, guide your guest to another of your sites so that they get maximum exposure to you and are able to get to know you.

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

Forum Marketing Yahoo Answers (I need to use more of) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Bum Marketing or Article marketing P-P-C (Pay Per Click) Marketing Online Directories Hope this helps.
