Have you recently been laid off or fired? Are you a recent graduate and still have not found a job? You certainly do not have to feel alone. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that last month, August 2009, that 14.9 million or 9.7% of Americans were unemployed. Here in California where I live, it is even worse, 11.9% in July. That is really not very good news if you are seeking employment. But there is a viable option. Forbes magazine recently reported that 40 million people will start a home based business in the nest 3-5 years.
If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, and aren't afraid to work, this could be a lucrative option for you. If you search home based online business opportunities, or something similar, you will be amazed at what is out there. I need to make more than the ads showing Moms making $200/day. MLMs have zero interest to me. I just can not see myself pushing potions and lotions, vitamins and magic juices to my family, friends, neighbors and anyone else that comes within three feet of me. I am not a salesman and have no interest in cold calling.
As you search for a legitimate home based business opportunity, part of your due diligence needs to be finding and feeling comfortable with the answers to the following five questions;
- What product or services are being represented?
- Who is the company behind it?
- What is the marketing system in place?
- Is there sufficient support for me?
- What is the compensation plan?
I found a legitimate business opportunity that successfully meets these criteria. The question is, are you ready to leave the brick and mortar jobs that put you where you are, take action and learn more about this legitimate business opportunity?
