Internet Income Opportunities – How to Weed Out the Scams from the Gems

 

In the world of Income opportunities on the internet, there are many, many 'Get Rich Quick' scams which exist solely to prey upon you and convince you to part with your hard-earned cash with the expectation that you are investing for future gains.  In fact, however, your investment goes to making the scam operator rich instead.

 

There are legitimate opportunities, though, and with due diligence you can find the hidden Gems which are true business opportunities. 

 

Be sure to visit the Better Business Bureau (bbb.org) and enter the url of the business you are researching to find out if the business has unresolved complaints.  Business do not have to be registered with the BBB to be legitimate, but beware of any business that has a significant number of unresolved complaints or that cannot be found via this search.  Do not believe their claims.  It is best to discard any idea of signing with them.  Instead, move on and research other opportunities.

 

Determine the strength of the company by searching for their products and services.  With some companies, you may have to pay an application fee to research the actual products, but this fee should be fully refundable within a specified timeframe.

 

Ask yourself these questions:

 

  • What is the mindset of the leader(s)?  Are they actively involved in the mentoring of new entrepreneurs? Do they demonstrate integrity and have a successful track record?

 

  • Can you be assured that the company is authentic and that the earnings claims can be verified?

 

  • What is the community atmosphere like?  Do fellow entrepreneurs help each other, or do they merely compete?  Are there regularly scheduled meetings for beginners to learn from the experienced professionals?

 

  • Is there a clearly defined system with step by step instructions to enable you to learn your business quickly and effectively?

 

  • Do you believe in the quality of the products being sold?

 

  • Is there a compensation plan which provides high initial payouts as well as long term residual compensation?

 

  • Are you responsible in total for closing sales, or is professional assistance provided so you can concentrate on the business of drawing traffic to your website?

 

  • Is there a turnkey website provided?  Can it be uniquely customized and personally branded?

 

  • What is the initial investment?  Are there ways to come in at different levels and work your way into higher levels?

 

  • Is there a marketing plan?  If so, how is it taught?  Is there access to training 24/7?

 

These are just some of the questions that you need to answer for due diligence. Taking on this inquisitive attitude will help you avoid financial losses and prevent you from wasting valuable time and effort.

There is nothing more satisfying than to be in control of your own destiny and to be able to make a mark on the world and leave a lasting legacy.  Do not expect it to come easily, though.  To be a success, you must be driven and diligent.  Surround yourself with successful people who are willing to share their formulas for success.
