Before you join a home based MLM business opportunity you must take your time and do some good research. Get to know as much as possible about this home based MLM business opportunity that you are interested in joining. Make sure it's a company with a solid reputation and that it is legitimate and stable.
If you find a lot of complaints when doing your research you might want to steer clear of the company. Make sure that you find real people and that they are reputable and that their clients and partners are content with the way the company is run. If they have claims about success do a thorough research on that and look into how many years they've been in business and have they grown during that time.
Now consider the product or products. Are they of value to people? Most important are they products you would use yourself. Don't ever think you can recommend products to your prospects that you wouldn't consider using yourself. It doesn't work. You have to feel passionate about the products or services. If the product or service isn't useful to people it doesn't matter how well your marketing strategies are. They will not sell. Check out whether they are one time big ticket items or if they will sell over and over again.
The next significant thing to consider is the selling price. If it is a top tier product the price will be high, but at the same time the more income will be in store for you. And if the prices are low the commissions are lower as well and it will take you much longer to make a good sum of money.

With Forced Matrix plan, there's a limited number of people to be recruited as direct down lines. For example, you allowed to recruit only four heads in your unit and each of them are only limited to invite up to four down lines of their own.
Pyramid matrix is also called uni-level plan or the pyramid marketing scheme. Unlike the Forced matrix, this method does not have any limitations as to how many people you're going to recruit. It allows you to sign up as many downlines as possible. Commissions can be based from the performance of the 2nd level to the highest level of your recruits. This type of payment plan has been used by various scammers to use and abuse people.
Breakaways is usually paired with Matrix method wherein the highest level of position has been achieved, the leader will break away from the team in the sense that he or she can no longer receive any commission, rather, there's a lump sum monthly commission waiting.

In this compensation scheme, is usually pared with forced matrix structure in order to motivate people to recruit new members while being in control of a member who was able to sponsor a new recruit may immediately acquire a bonus.
