You Grow in Network Marketing - We Grow - A Partnership That Works!

One great way to grow your business is to partner with other individuals and small businesses. The idea being that as their business grows yours will as well, and likewise as you become more successful they will benefit. It is always helpful to be connected to others that are experiencing what you are dealing with. Not only can the relationship benefit your business endeavors, but it also gives you someone to talk to. Discuss marketing strategies, demographics, etc.

There are several things you can keep in mind when partnering with other businesses and individuals to make sure you are getting the most out of said partnerships. First you want to make sure their interests and products are similar to yours. They don't need to be the same, in fact it is probably better if they are not the same. But the similarities in the businesses means the customers they pull in are more likely to be interested in what you have to offer. If you own a clothing company you probably don't want to partner up with a bakery (unless you can come up with an amazingly creative marketing campaign of course), but a partnership with a local modeling agency could prove beneficial.

Second, you want to stay local and pursue businesses that are of similar size to yours. Now you might be able to pull in larger companies, but this should not be your initial priority. Focus on networking with the small local groups and grow from there. Your chances of successfully building a relationship with them is greater and they are more likely to cater to your demographic.

And finally, just repeat the above steps over and over again. You can never have a large enough network. So get out there and meet new friends!

Re: Are you going to watch the Social Network? Re: Are you going to watch the Social Network? - I think it would be great to see this guy's story. Even though movies tend to exaggerate, I love reading about and watching the stories of entrepreneurs. The underlying principle is always the same - successful businesses always start with an idea. Even if you inherit a business, it originated with someone's idea. That's why I love Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich."
