MARKETING BUDGET: an area we all love to hate. Setting a budget is essential, rule of thumb is 10% of profits should go straight back into promotion and this should be on a consistent basis, even when business is good you should always be seeking fresh new customers. Monitor where your enquiry is coming from you dont want to waste money advertising in areas where there is no activity. Create a seperate account so you can see how much you have spent and when starting a new business make sure you have a marketing fund established but use the money wisely and across a broad range of different marketingavenues...the bigger the net your fishing with the more fish your going to catch but in this instance more potential customers to target.
TARGET MARKETING: Directing youradvertising materials to attract a specific buyer or customer who is looking for a product or business opportunity. Your ads have toimpact a potential customer within the first 15 Seconds of them reading your article, watching your video, or catch their eye through any other source of marketing campaign.
EXPOSURE: Putting yourself or your products on a pedestal will seperate yourself from your competition, positioning yourself on High Traffic Websites, Flash Banner Advertising, Bold Headings in Articles, Using Pictures to break up text it is more attractive to the eye & Testimonials people love to see that others arehaving success it gives them belief in themselves! When exposing yourself or your product Highlight the factors showing potential customers why you have an edge over your competition, sell the benefits of the business, product or service.
MARKETING CAMPAIGNS: Make it of High Importance to Diversify when focusing on marketing, (Dont put all your eggs in one basket so to speak!) This is an important area in which you should monitor very dilligently because after a period of time you will know where your money is bestbeing spent from the number of leads generated through each campaign. Some examples for areas of marketing are Video Marketing, FlashBanner Advertising, Article Marketing, Press Releases, Newspapers & Magazines & Warm Market Targeting, these are all different avenues where potential customers come fromthat are looking for specific products, similarinterests or business opportunities.
