Why Online Marketing Is A Good Home-Based Business

Why Online Marketing Is A Good Home-Based Business

  For men and women, especially those who need to effectively balance their work and family responsibilities, becoming an entrepreneur and starting a home-based business is often a much sought after solution.  The optimum work at home business is one that can be conducted online because it can be done from anywhere, at anytime and has the potential to reach millions of people.  Technically, all an online entrepreneur needs is a laptop, access to the Internet, a product or products to market and a cell phone.  By being an Internet marketing consultant, an entrepreneur has the opportunity to start a home business that can generate substantial income and provide greater personal freedom, two things most people today are looking for and need. 

 

Another consideration is, as reported by Professor Munnell in her book "Working Longer", current demographic and financial trends prove American women and men must work longer to avoid poverty in old age.  Today, many of us are living longer - till 85 or even 90 years of age.  It's a period of time in which we hopefully will still be physically and mentally active, and it creates a much longer time in which we will need to have a reliable source of financial income.  Government data also shows that men and women who continued to work until their mid-60s or beyond, didn't retire in poverty.  Additionally, people who operate their own business earn more on average than other Americans. The major challenge today is to persuade men and women to become entrepreneurs and increase their numbers among the self employed. 

 

Learning how to be an online entrepreneur the right way can help many to avoid the pitfalls of starting a new business venture.  Using proven Internet marketing strategies and tactics, combined with the right product and business plan, online entrepreneurs can become CEOs of their own successful Internet marketing companies.  Like all top income generating entrepreneurs they would need to: 1) be open to a new way of thinking and doing things; 2) be teachable; 3) set goals; 4) implement consistent action to attain them; 5) learn from mistakes and take corrective action; and finally, 6) do whatever it takes and be committed to succeed.

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

Forum Marketing Yahoo Answers (I need to use more of) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Bum Marketing or Article marketing P-P-C (Pay Per Click) Marketing Online Directories Hope this helps.
