Using a Mentor to Find the Best Work at Home Businesses Online

There is an infinite variety of home basedbusinessesout there--but only one that suits your talents, skills, and needs. How can you create the best work at home businesses online, the type of company that will help you become financially free? How can you get a great start so you can build wealth and still see your family at the end of every day? It's very simple.

The best kept secret among successful entrepreneurs is hiring a mentor. A mentor is a business consultant who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to your online venture. There are three key ways a mentor can help you out:

A Mentor Can Help You Set Goals

As a newhome businessentrepreneur, it's important to start on the right path by setting goals. In fact, too many entrepreneurs make the mistake of only setting long-term goals, or only setting short-term goals. In fact, you need to set both short and long-term goals so you can have an immediate plan as well as long-range plans in place.

Many entrepreneurs are daunted by the prospect of setting goals and simply don't even try it. That's where a mentor can step in--with the wealth of his background and experience in building new companies, a mentor can help you define sensible, reachable long and short-term goals. These goals will help you get on track and stay on track, no matter how fast your businesstakes off.

A Mentor Gives You Support to Reach Those Goals

Formulating goals is great, but it's also a fundamentally worthless exercise unless you draft a plan for meeting those goals. This is another area that can freeze up a new entrepreneur; all too often, he sets goals and then has no clear approach for meeting his milestones. This is another area, fortunately, in which a mentor can help.

Having been through the process before, your mentor can help you draft a blueprint for meeting each milestone, whether a short-term or long-term goal. This blueprint will contain simple, easy-to-follow steps so you can work each day on reaching the ultimate goals you've set for your business.

A Mentor Can Help You Avoid Pitfalls

It's an unfortunate truth that most small online businesses fail within the first year. Of those that struggle through those crucial first 12 months, most are doomed to fail within the first five years. How can you beat the odds and make it to your sixth year with your head held high? How can you avoid the critical mistakes other entrepreneurs make and become amillionaire? Once again, a mentor can make all the difference in the world.

He can help you negotiate the often tricky business of start-up, and guide you through the first year, overcoming the common obstacles that cripple most businesses from the start. In addition, he can be on hand for years to come, ready to answer questions and guide you along the right path. By hiring a mentor, you won't just get a head start, you'll have the benefit of his expertise for years to come.

Re: Exotic Tea Shop Website for Review Re: Exotic Tea Shop Website for Review - Hi David, - Background is nice and fitting, but I don't like the header. The title completely blends in with the background? - About Us shouldn't be second from the left on the navigation bar. People read from left to right. The commercial intent is to buy, the online store should probably be second. - Online Tea Store... too many choices without supplementary information. No description of product choice. oz and pricing should be stylized separately from the name of the product. - Online Tea Store.... Visuals is definitely very important in raising commercial intent. Someone who comes to the site through SEO is searching for exotic teas and not particulars. Meaning they're browsing. Text is not enough for a browsing shopper. - World of Tea... the information can be organized a bit better. Again, visuals. Some of this info belongs to online tea store. I'm not too sure on the name. - Tea & Treasure... not sure on this name either... mainly because you have "World of Tea" next to it. Navigation should be transparent in conveying information to the users. Why not call it "Find Us" or "Visit Us"? - Email newseletter.... "occasional updates" containing what exactly? Again, my humble opinion. Hope you find it useful!
Famous Entrepreneur Question? Famous Entrepreneur Question? - First name to come to mind was Sam Walton. After reading his aoutbiography, I feel so connected to him. My one Question would be...(after getting on one knee) "Would You Mentor Me?''
