Finding Your Niche in Life -- Live with Passion and Purpose

Many of us go through life following the path of least resistance. This may mean having a job that pays the bills, but that we don’t actually like. We know what to do and it is comfortable to be there. But where’s the passion and the excitement in life? Where is the challenge that makes us feel alive and able to do anything? Do you want to get up every day with energy and ready to face the day? That is what finding your niche in life can do. It can bring a new dimension to your life.

You can love your work and your life if you are spending it doing something you love. If you are like many of us, this sounds great, but you don’t know where to begin. Start finding your niche in life by making a list of things you enjoy. They can be hobbies, areas in your professional life that you excel in, etc. They can also be something that you want to do, but haven’t taken the time for. Once you have your list, pick the items that stand out the most and take your time to research the different career options that include these things.

We are all unique, with different strengths and interests. Zeroing in on these traits will help you begin finding your niche in life. Everyone has gifts they can share, yet many people believe theirs are not worthwhile. This is completely untrue. To contribute to the lives of others and work towards the betterment of your own, it is a matter of setting the negative thoughts aside and learning to function outside your comfort zone. This will help you see yourself for the truly talented individual you are. Discovering yourself is a journey that lasts a lifetime. It has twists and turns, with new adventures around every corner.

When you live with a purpose, finding your niche in life is fulfilling. You thrive and those around you are positively impacted. Surround yourself with others who have embarked on their own journey of self-discovery. They can be a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. Bolstering your confidence and helping you navigate through the ups and downs of your journey will help you stay motivated and focused. It is time to take charge of your life, and fill it with the passion and exuberance for life. Take control of your destiny and become the person you were always meant to be.

How Quick is That How Quick is That - Just to let you know that as I'm not as sharp as I might be in the ftp sort of world, I had a problem today with uploading a new site. Hostgator 'Live Chat' fixed this for me in two minutes flat and didn't make me feel I was an idiot at all (at least anymore than I felt myself). As I'm in the UK and ringing early am for me here, I thought that 'Live Chat' might have been EST, so off for me, but no, they were there! BTW I'd spelt my nameservers slightly wrong - duh! Now that's what I call service. Regards.
The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth - [quote="Tami Szabo":292ze3jd]People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
