To jumpstart your sales and realize your true earning potential, a funded proposal is the best method for qualified lead generation. Many people believe that once their site is up their product will speak for itself. This is not usually the case. Those that are new to online businesses, as well as those with experience who find revenues beginning to lag can benefit from this type of marketing campaign.

A funded proposal is an ancillary product or service that you offer to prospects at a low cost. It does not address your products directly, nor is it a pitch to join your business. That is done later. Right now you are focusing on generating leads. Rather than cold calling prospects or purchasing leads that may or may not be worth it, you are creating warm leads that are interested in what you have to sell while generating revenue that can be reinvested into your business. It is often information that they find valuable, like how to start a blog or what to consider when choosing a product to sell.

Anything focused on helping people who are struggling make money online can be effective. This will begin generating revenue and your time has not been wasted on unnecessary work. Using the funded proposal method also builds trust. Once you have provided prospects with valuable information that they can use effectively, they are more receptive to purchasing additional products from you. Most people who are starting their own online business have two primary challenges. They do not have the money they need to properly market their goods and they don’t have the qualified leads necessary to grow their business and make it profitable.

The key here is “qualified leads”. Though the leads generated by the funded proposal help bring ongoing revenue, it will not permanently sustain your business, even if it is high demand, fast selling information. The goal is to capture leads that are interested in purchasing the products and services you are selling. If you are part of a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business or marketing network you want to recruit people to become part of your partner network or down line. This marketing method is designed specifically to focus your efforts and grow your network in a most efficient and inexpensive way.

Don't give up 40%! Don't give up 40%! - Congrats on this milestone Evan... I agree with outsourcing any function that makes the business owner a Front-line worker as this is not best use of your time. I also agree with Louis that 40% is too much to give up. 40% may work if you have surpassed your income goals from the website and after you pay the 40% you are still within your monthly income goals. Would an RFP/RFI (Request For Proposal/Information) to companies like this Website Sales Team be a call you need to make?
