Golden Income Opportunities in Retirement

Combine the fun of gold prospecting with an online business to earn income in retirement.

If you are like most people approaching or in retirement then you probably own a caravan and don't believe in hibernating in your den during the winter months. Instead you'll take off and head to where the days are warmer.

It's a great lifestyle until you get bored.

You need to add some excitement to your travels and combining gold prospecting with anonline businessis a perfect way to do it while earning an income that allows you to upgrade your caravan every couple of years and send gifts home to the grandkids while you're on holidays.

In 2006, I spent 5 months in outback Western Australia prospecting for gold using a metal detector. If you haven't done it before it's hard to explain the thrill of finding gold. With the help of my trusty detector I picked up 43 ounces during my trip and you don't have to be Einstein to work out how much that's worth.

It's not hard to learn the skill of gold detecting. First of all you need to get your self a good detector (one each if you are a couple). Although there are many good brands on the market you cannot go past a Minelab detector. If you can't afford a new one, pick up a second hand one. November onwards is a good time to buy one after the gold prospecting 'season' has finished in the west.

If you are a newbie to gold prospecting I highly recommend you join an organised tour. Most tours last 10 - 14 days and you can find plenty to choose from by getting a copy of the Gem & Treasure magazine or by doing a google search. The good part about an organised tour is you get taken to where the gold is and you are with like minded people.

The thing I love about gold prospecting is you get to tour the country at the same time while making money. I was also operating an online network marketing business while I was away for 5 months and with a laptop and the right mobile internet coverage was able to keep up to date with my business while on the road.Let's not forget either what's been happening with the price of gold and it's likely to keep rising. Drop me a note if you want more information on gold prospecting, equipment or places to detect.

As far as I am concerned combining gold prospecting with running an online business is a great way to enjoy retirement and grow your bank balance at the same time.

Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".
