First let's begin by discussing the importance of where your mind set is right now. Because if you're fortunate enough to be in a position where you have the habits in place to be able to run a business from home, only then you may have success from home. Otherwise, no matter what business you're in you'll go from the best home based business opportunity, right back to giving somebody else the opportunity to have success. Or you may go from one home opportunity to another, jumping from business to business. That is why it is so important to consider that in order to have success from home, you must have the right habits for running a business from home. These are the habits that must be considered:

1. Set time aside to do only income producing activities.

2.Set time aside to connect with your customers and show leadership to your potential ones.

3. Set time aside to work on personal development and

4. Turn off the Television.

Next is to find the vocation that you're passionate about, you must work on staying focused and serious about your enterprise, what ever it is you're inspired about. If you have no clue as to what the best home based business opportunity is for you, don't worry, you're not alone. Many people including myself, had no idea where to begin. My advice is to really dig deep within yourself and figure out what inspires you. Not just what motivates you, but what does really keep you inspired? Because what inspires you, will keep in the game longer. Motivation is not enough. We're all motivated from time to time, but when you're inspired by something deep, there 's no question as to how far you could go.

There are a million things you can do from home, Google offers a great resource of information for those seeking different types of home based business opportunities, but be aware for there's a lot of scams out there. My suggestion is that after you've found your vocation, do your research on people having success in that particular field. Find people you want to be like, and basically, do what they do in their business in order to achieve success. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes the answers are right in front of you. Go with your gut feelings and find the leaders in your industry. Learn to implement the same skills they do. Follow the process of learning new skills and master the ones your already possess. It becomes easy once you figure out what really drives you in life. When you're inspired, and you do what you do out of love, it doesn't become work it becomes your life.

My view of the best home based business opportunities are: Direct Sales, MLM (Multi-level Marketing), Internet Marketing, Affiliate Programs and Network Marketing. I highly advice to join a business opportunity that is system oriented where you can learn step by step the skills necessary.

You must seek out a business that has a large support network and has the right leaders to follow. You must also look for an opportunity that has a compensation program that serves you of all your efforts, and last but not lesst, look for something that offers you residual income.

It's crucial that you understand the mentoring factor as well. The best of the best in any industry, have a mentor to guide them. Decide who your mentor will be and make sure that you learn at least one new thing every day.
