Networking - Is This A Place For YOUR Future?

Article Overview: I first stumbled upon the concept called ‘network marketing’ when a friend of mine showed me a presentation in 2003 and I fell in love with the concept. Those explanations on the black board with links and circles to represent network marketing during the presentation opened my thoughts and eye to the future of the business. At that time I was working as a Manager in one of the largest German corporation. By then, I was in to the regular job for over 6 years.

Networking - Is This A Place For YOUR Future?

I first stumbled upon the concept called ‘network marketing' when a friend of mine showed me a presentation in 2003 and I fell in love with the concept. Those explanations on the black board with links and circles to represent network marketing during the presentation opened my thoughts and eye to the future of the business. At that time I was working as a Manager in one of the largest German corporation. By then, I was in to the regular job for over 6 years.

Why do I say "the future of the business" is in the Network Marketing Industry? I have gathered some of the information and also I will share my thoughts & perceptions on the same.

The fact that so many people are exploring the opportunity in Network Marketing industry is that it has the answers to the current marketing trends. Fortune Magazine's ‘Market Shock 2007'- they said - Forget Your Pay Check; your w-2 days are over it's a 1099 world now. The Market has decided and is moving, from baby food to fast food to natural cosmetics to home products to SUV's. Invaluable offering from the network marketing industry as the experts say is that it provides ways to secure financial freedom and enjoy more time freedom. You can be YOUR own boss!

Just take a moment to think. Are you striving hard to catch up with the rat race in your corporate life?

As you see around, there are many people who are starting home business in record numbers. Some time back, I read that CNN reported that new home business is started in United started every 11 seconds. This is amazing. And also, you will realize as you read further, the home business has become the big trend of the day and network marketing is the future of the economic growth of United States and is spreading to countries like India, South Africa, Australia, Europe etc. In today's scenario, network marketing is the hottest home business available.

Wonderful part of this Network Marketing Industry is - it offers less investment plan, less monthly overhead and would-be entrepreneurs can work part-time, while still employed, and grow the business to replace their current pay packets. Most exciting part is - age, gender and race aren't barriers; in fact, well over half of the success stories are women in this industry is what I have read.

As we all know, in corporate jobs, only people with relevant skills, background and relevant experience survive a job opportunity. But, it is contrast in this Network Marketing Industry. Network marketing industry offers and accommodates every one, literally every one i.e. the basic philosophy is - there is no perfect or right person for this. Secondly, many of them who are yet to know the concept or are new to the concept think it is all about ‘selling' and if they don't see themselves as a ‘sales person' they just walk away for this wonderful concept. This is not true. In fact, most of them who are huge success in this network marketing industry are ‘not sales persons'. To my surprise, when I spoke to few of them and also, I have read in few magazines that are successful in network industry, I understand that they all hate ‘selling'. What exactly they do?

They simply listen to people's needs and dare to come forward with a resolution/answer. People are not looking for products, services or business opportunity. They are simply looking for solving their ‘life's problem'

So, am I here to resolve people's ‘life problems'? It is a big NO.

But, for sure I am able to resolve for quite. So, what am I doing here?

The reasons why people are flocking to network marketing industry in my opinion is to enjoy the time leverage, main stream commissions, residual income, and financial freedom. This is the only Industry which provides a business's concept that doesn't require employees, yet enables the owner to leverage their time and using the time for building a network of independent business associates. This network, which purchases and sells products or services, generates a residual income for the owner. Unlike the income earned at a job, which stops when the work stops, residual income continues on long after the work is completed. So, the answer to the above question is - I just share the knowledge and provide complete support. Help them live the life of excellence, which only this industry can provide.

Thanks to the ‘internet' technology. People can now work from the comfort of their home, and within a few months to a few years, build a large international business. The income from this business will secure their financial future and provide more free time to truly enjoy life. The best part is that anyone can do it. Now, YOU can decide!

Re: How Not To Start A New Business - Well, these guys these guys will not succeed at all. they need to have a way of doing things. First thing first, which market segment are they targeting? Or are they in the same segment the previous magazine was. They also need to understand the trends, currently people read online magazines so they need a website. After that they need to develop the marketing mix, which will guide them in their marketing activities. This marketing mix will be made of 4 Ps, which are Product, Place,Price and Promotion. I will assume the magazine is the product, the first P, The Price is what is the role the price will play in the market, do they want premium price, or do they want to skim the market. The other P, they need to have, is the Place, this will help in having a strategy on where to place their magazines, this includes the websites, malls, newspaper stands etc. The final P they need to develop is the Promotion, this is the advertising , channels, websites, forums, blogs, name it. Once they have done that, they can sit down and wait for money to come but not without superior customer service, otherwise without all this, they are wasting their time and money.
Re: How can a social networking site make serious money? - Hi There, It is quite interesting, that some Social Networking do produce an income. I think testimonials are always a benefit to share. See one below: This Social Network has changed my life! Every night is a Friday night and everyday is a Saturday!! Because of it, I have been able to leave the workforce 10 years early.It has given me back my life. Many of us would like to retire early. I am sure there are many more. The point is of focusing with great determination. The ongoing challenge is to stay focussed and not be sidetracked into a newer scheme or so. Also I have read, during this financial turmoil, more people turn to Social Networking for various reasons.
