Why Should You Adopt Permission Marketing way?

Today, Internet is the place for exploring the world. In this place, you are always bombarded emails & private messages from friends and of course for the people in the social media & networking – just scouting for opportunity by pitching their products & opportunity in your face. This is something at time can be annoying. I d not like this and I am sure you are also the one like me who does not annoy people with sales pitch!

This is what we term it as ‘interruption marketing’. This is what i said is annoying as this can take away some of your time as you open up your emails &/or look at a post. Over a period of time, I have learnt to identify such interruptions and quickly delete if I find it not interesting.

This is something that I advocate people i.e. not to interrupt people with information which is not solicited for. Everyone in this space know what is happening and would not like to be flogged with the same information again & again. Anyways, learning the simple & yet the most effective marketing is the key to success!

Just imagine that there are people who are interested to know what exactly you do &/or want to know the product &/or services. Basically, when you can provide something that is values to people, they come forward and this is where you have their permission to speak about the product or service or even to tell them who you are. This is what I call as ‘Permission Marketing’.

This is something I have see & experienced, it is more relaxing to interact with people which helps you to know them as acquaintance and then if there are mutual interest, the same turns to client / customer relationship. Once you have their permission, then you will see it is a lot easier to talk to them, answer their questions and see if they are interested in what you have shared with them as the business opportunity.

The KEY is - learning how to market yourself and of course the right way as well. So that you are attractive to others. As you hate to be pushy & aggressive sales pitch, be informed that it is said that 92% of the world population also hates this method being perused by few people in the market. So why become one?

Hope the above has some value to take away with you to be a successful marketer. With this I wish you all the best!

Your success only!

God Bless You!

Re: pitching Re: pitching - Friendliness is closely related to the concept of "permission marketing" as articulated by Seth Godin. The subtitle of his book says it all: "Permission Marketing: Turning Strangers into Friends and Friends into Customers." The old method was "interruption marketing" where you suddenly get an ad in your face whether you want it or not...
