This is not only a destination for sweethearts as there are already a number of families who have come to love the beautiful scenery of the island. One of the usual problems that families face though is the expensive hotels they need to rent when they are on vacation. If you want to save money in your Hawaiian adventure, make sure you choose a Hawaii Vacation Rental home! Aside from saving money, you can easily get to tourist destinations such as Waimea Bay, Shark's Cove, Polynesian Cultural Center, and Haleiwa Town. If you have never tried renting a vacation home before, there are a lot of reasons why you should make this your first time:

• Cook your own dinner! Because you are paying for at least 3 heads in your family, eating out is not a good idea. While there are several restaurants that have affordable menus, it is a better idea for you to cook your own dinner. Aside from saving money, you are also aware of the foods included in each dish you serve your family.

• It is economical! Although you are vacationing in Hawaii with your family, this does not mean you should spend your entire life savings in this destination. One way you can save money is by using a Hawaii Vacation Rental home.

• Live like a local! There are a lot of vacationers who love to pretend they are locals of Honolulu. They think that if they put on a tan, they are already able to fool other people into thinking they have lived in the island their whole life. Unlike you, they do not know they could actually rent out a Hawaii Vacation Rental home. Use it for your advantage. When you are a local, you already know the top destinations such as Lei Lei's Restaurant, Matsamoto's Shave Ice, and Cholo's Mexican Restaurant. These restaurants are the best places to eat in Oahu!

Of course, you will have to remember that most of the Hawaii Vacation Rental homes that are available are not necessarily facing the beach. However, you have to remember that the island is surrounded with beautiful beaches. Although you don't wake up with the beach facing your window, you get the opportunity to save money in the rental home you have opted for. This doesn't matter though, as you can easily walk to the beach nearest you!

2010 - Big goals or scaled back? - 2009 was a rough year for all. I am rolling out a modified sales plan this afternoon to my team but I am still being aggressive with our numbers. I'm tossing out a trip to Hawaii as incentive - seriously. Question: Have you scaled down your sales goals for this year? Kept the the same? Or ramped up?

Well...I suppose a pent house apartment in Hawaii could be useful as well...
ZipCar costs - Kevin, They've got a really good selection of cars from Toyota matrix's to mini's to 4x4's to BMW's. they have a daily limit of 150km and then it's about $0.15/km. You can also rent for the full day for $76 +taxes. That's really helpful on the weekends as most Rental companies require a 2 day rental.
