7 Tips to making money online

Have you been surfing the internet, looking for income opportunities that can help you fire your boss? If you are like most people searching online, you may have come across lots and lots of so -called opportunities, promising you all sorts of things.

Yes, there are literally thousands upon thousands of "opportunities" out there. Not all them are created equal. Some are real and others are simply set up just to separate you from your money.

However, once you find a business that you think might be "it" for you, what do you do?

Here are 7 secrets that can help you make the best of your income opportunity:

****1) BELIEVE that you CAN make money. You see, it's one thing to make the decision to start an online business to help you make money. Nothing is more powerful than believing in yourself, and that you CAN actually make the money you set out to make. So, believe in yourself. Believe that you can do it.

****2) Find the right system for yourself. Nothing worse than getting involved in something that you do not believe in, or that is not a perfect fit for you. You see, when you believe in something, it's a lot easier for other people to believe in it as well. Finding the right system is key to your success.

****3) Once you find the right system that is a fit for you, what's next? Your next step is simple. You actually have to work. Nothing ever comes from doing nothing! You must do the work. Learn your system and make it work for you. No matter how good your system is, it will never work itself and deposit the cash into your bank account. That is your responsibility. If you work it, it will work for you. They say there are 3 types of people. Those who make things happen. Those who watch things happen. And those who are left wondering what happened!

****4) Find and link up with a mastermind group within your system. Learn from those who were there before you that are getting results. Find out what they are doing to get the results they are enjoying. Make your presence known by participating in your mastermind group events. Events could include daily training,webinars, tips and tricks of lead generation, etc. Your member area could also prove to be a cache of useful tools and information.

****5) DO NOT QUIT! Whatever you do in your business venture, do not ever quit! One you quit, it is over for you. Remember this, if nothing else....Winners never quit. Quitters never win! If something is not working, do not quit, just change your approach. And remember the reason you got involved in the first place.

****6) Teach others what you know. The more people you help, the more you prosper and get better. Zig Ziglar once said: "If you help enough people get what they want, you will eventually get what you want."

****7) Repeat steps 1 through 7. Watch your business grow.

Note: These 7 secrets are the end all. You may have tips of your own that you may want to use in combination with the above 7. Have fun with whatever business you choose and also remember to treat it like what it is....a business. You will practically assure your success by following these seven secrets and learning more as you go. Never stop learning. If you are not learning, you are not growing. Remember this saying by Jim Rohn: "Formal education will make you rich. Self education will make you a fortune."

However, I get more satisfaction from doing what I love and have a passion for that brings in money vs. doing something I hate and making money. There's little satisfaction if you're working hard for someone else and making them money, while you make a measly paycheck. Some people are okay with this, but they may not be as happy as they could be if they did what they loved to do. In either case, it's important to do what you love. The money will follow.

Re: Branding On A Budget - Hi, I am big on branding...but I think #8 might be the most important for online stores. In fact I think it should be "do what you say." Unfortunately many online retailers create the ultimate marketing plan, great website, and throw a lot of money into online advertising but fail to actually do what they say. Sometimes our recommendation to clients are stop focusing on all the things you should do and just do it...build & run a good business. When internet owners start focusing on spending 95% of their time making money for their company and less money on "trying" to build their brand...it is funny how that brand forms. Jeff
Re: The best course for starting an online business - Hi Keven, I would be more than happy to share it, but I'm really confused what to share, where to start. OK, here is the greatest lesson I learned from that course. It is realted with the starting an internet business. - If you want to start your online buisness, the first thing you should do is to find you [u:1vh6vyeb]own [/u:1vh6vyeb]niche (we have talked about this in forum on another threads). What most people trying to do is to find the hottest product on the net and try to market it to make money online. It is a WRONG concept. Or most newbies join money making programs and try to teach others how to make money too. And this makes the problem (because they don't even know how to make money themselves). It is a lesson which taught a lot in my online marketing business. This first lesson is simple, but great. Orxan
