5 Simple Steps For A Successful Network Marketing Post Card Mailing Campaign.

You have made the decision to reach business opportunity seekers for your network marketing company in a designated area through direct mail, specifically with post card mailers. Now what? There are 5 basic, simple steps:

1. The mailing list. You will have to obtain a mailing list from a list broker.

2. The creative. Will you design the postcard or will you have a graphic artist design it for you?

3. The printing expense. You should seek a printer's advice as to the most economical press run.

4. The postage expense. This is a fixed cost: a postcard stamp costs the same whether you purchase one or several thousand. The post office does not provide a discount.

5. The processing of your mail. Will you be labeling your postcards and placing the stamp on each one or will you outsource this to a mail house?

Let's break down each step.

One. The mailing list. If you are outsourcing the processing of your postcard mailing to a mail house, ask them who they would recommend for a mailing list broker. (If you intend to do the mailing yourself, perhaps your printer has a list broker source.) Ask the broker how fresh the list is meaning how long ago was it compiled. If the list was generated over a year ago, do not waste your money...find another broker with a newer list of names.

Two. If you are mailing out in the thousands, it is worth a few hundred dollars to have your post card professionally designed by a graphic artist. If you do not know one, ask your printer to recommend someone. (If you are mailing out only hundreds of postcards, think about designing it yourself.) A very effective color combination would be to have the postcard stock (paper) be yellow printed with black ink.

Three. There are a few ways to lower your printing costs. Design your postcard so that it can run "4 up" on an 8 ½" x 11" sheet. This means that 4 postcards will be cut from a single sheet. Another way to save on printing cost would be to supply camera ready artwork to the printer as you will not have to pay for typesetting or image resizing costs.

Four. The postage expense is a fixed cost. There would be a savings were you to mail your postcards through business class (bulk) mail. But if you are doing infrequent mailings the savings would not justify the time you had to spend preparing the mailing for the post office.

Five. Processing of your postcard mailing might seem like an easy task. However if you are mailing to thousands it will take quite a bit of time for you to do this yourself. Plus a mail house will have the label and stamp positioned perfectly...after all, this is their business..and your first impression to the postcard recipient. Most of these mail processors will also deliver them to the post office for you which saves you even more time.

Finally if you do decide to design your own postcard ask yourself one question: would I be motivated to take action if I received this postcard mailer?

Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? Is it not legit?
Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.

Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.
