Guest post by: Andy Acciaioli

Article Overview: Lady Gaga not only entertains but she inspires her audience to believe in themselves. As network marketers we too should inspire ourselves and our team members to believe in their network marketing dreams.

Do You Want Lady Gaga On Your Network Marketing Team?

Maybe you are one of those who do not know who Lady Gaga is. Or you could even be one of those who still cannot figure out what Lady Gaga is with her outlandish outfits. But anyone who has seen her show either in person or the HBO special will realize – like it or not – she has talent.

What does this have to do with network marketing?

While she was attending a New York City college, she was told by her singing coach to forget about singing and to further lower to her self-esteem her theater coach told her she would never make a living acting.

Fast forward a few years (very few since she is only 25) and she has made gazillions of dollars singing and acting during her touring performances. Matter of fact, one of her latest albums sold over one million copies in only 5 days.

Given all of that, nothing impressed me more than her statement near the end of her show as was broadcast on HBO. She looked out at the sold-out Madison Square Garden and told the audience how her feeling of self-worth was hammered down by her coaches in college. And she told the audience that no matter how they too would be told that they could not do something, remember that they have her (Lady Gaga) routing for them. She went on to tell them to never, regardless of the odds, give up and if it is their dream to be up on that very stage, they will be up on that stage someday.

She was so inspiring I thought maybe even my "fingernails on the blackboard" voice will make it. Nah. Not a chance.

Again, what does this have to do with you and your network marketing business?

Think like Lady Gaga. Do not let anyone steal your dream. If you want to have a successful network marketing business, you have to feel in your heart of hearts that you are successful right now as you build your business. Let that thought be in your head when you pick up that telephone to make another call…let that thought be in your head as you drive home from your latest presentation where your business was rejected as just another one of those pyramid deals…let that thought be in your head when your broke brother-in-law makes fun of your business at a family gathering…

Anyone who has been successful in network marketing has done it in spite of being hampered by criticism by those near and dear to us. You will not change them. Do not let them change you or steal your dreams.

P.S. Anybody have Lady Gaga’s telephone number? I sure would like her in my group.

Re: Advantages with Social Media Sites Re: Advantages with Social Media Sites - Social Media sites make good business for you, if you know how to use them. I learnt that Starbucks has more that 20 million likes on Facebook. This shows that it is easy for Starbucks to interact with these people. Lady Gaga has 17 million followers on twitter. She can market to them easily with a singe tweet.
Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? Is it not legit?
Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.

10 best franchises to get involved 10 best franchises to get involved - My advice is: 1) Go to the library and start reading business books (accounting, finance, etc.) 2) Go to your local community college and enroll in night classes 3) Join the local Chamber of Commerce 4) Network / Network / Network -- through the above sources. Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.
