Network Marketing Business Can Be Built Even If You Are Working A Full Time Job

You probably have a jammed packed life. Work a full time job. The commute to and from that job is horrendous at best. After dinner all you want to do is collapse in front of television with your remote tucked by your side. It gets even more hectic if you have a young family needing their school work checked, general nightly duties, preparing for the next day, etc.

Weekends are scheduled out attending kids sports games, becoming the parent-mobile shuttling your kids (and other kids from the neighborhood) to their practices, birthday parties, sleep-overs… What free time you can squeeze out of your weekend is spent supermarket or wholesale club food shopping.

Wouldn’t it be a treat to be sent to do time-out in your room and let the others fend for themselves?

Now you are being told that you can build a network marketing business in your spare time. Well, that is just swell. Your response is a glaring: WHAT SPARE TIME?

Fact: busy people get things done. Same thing applies with YOUR business.

If you are a morning person, get up an hour before your regular schedule and do not even think about starting your daily routine, start your home business work. You will see that this becomes a daily habit. (If you are a night person, rather than dragging yourself to bed after an exhausting day, have a coffee and spend another hour at the computer.) At work, instead of chatting with co-workers during your work breaks and lunch, spend the time reading/responding to your email, answering Facebook messages, returning your business related phone calls, etc.

Weekends are your best time to build your business. There are both women and men in my group who schedule Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights as their business nights. They are either in front of their computers or out doing business presentation meetings. And, those that have small children, in order not to have interruptions they have a babysitter watch and entertain their children while they are busy online elsewhere in their home.

If you do not have family responsibilities, you have no time excuse for not building your business. You can put your social life on hold while spending every non-job waking moment working your business. Trust me, you will be on a first name basis where you pick-up your nightly take-out food so you will not have to waste time preparing (and cleaning up after) a meal.

Early in my network marketing career, I attended a presentation given by a mlm Big Kahuna. During the question and answer session that followed, one person asked him how could she possibly join and build the business given her nonstop schedule? His response – which I have heard (and, okay, I have also used it) numerous times since then: You can either make money or make excuses but you cannot do both.

If your WHY is big enough, you will find a HOW in your busy schedule.

The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? Is it not legit?
Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.
2007 Goals - 1. Web site complete, fully operational 2. Revenue stream from both individual and corporate 3. Business Plan complete 4. Full marketing strategy complete and implemented
