Network Marketing Is A Business Of Systems Not A Love Story

No “red lights” think of the intersection crashes; no systems for your network marketing business has failure written all over it.

Network Marketing Is A Business Of Systems Not A Love Story
You have just received a telephone call
from someone who said he obtained your name and telephone number because you
filled out some online form. You do not
recall filling out a form but talk to him anyway. Halfway through the conversation he asks you
if you would like to speak to one of the top money earners in his company.
Imagine that. You talking to a top money earner. He quickly three-ways in a voice out of
network marketing land who is even slicker than the person who called you. He briefly chats about how superior their
products are to any comparable products in the marketplace. He piques your interest when he discusses how
much money you COULD make with their out-of-this-world comp plan. As a matter of fact, he chuckles and says
something like you could be making more than he is.
But you will have to act now to properly
position yourself near the top in their line of sponsorship or else all bets
are off as to your potential fortune.
Here is where you should say stop and do
the following three things:
1.
Examine their
recruiting system.
2.
Examine their
training system.
3.
Examine their
compensation system.
Over the past week I have looked at all
types of backbone systems (matrix, binary, unilevel, etc.) used by various
network marketing / mlm companies Can
you make money with any of these systems?
Yes. Will you be guaranteed to
make money with any one of these? Not
without having a recruiting system and training system in place that everyone –
you, your downline – can follow to achieve success. (Ray Kroc never laid claim to his restaurants
having the best hamburgers. But he had
the best systems in place to recruit/hire, educate and train crops and crops of
teenagers on how to consistently make McDonald’s hamburgers.)
You should be prepared to walk away from
any network marketing business opportunity that does not at least offer a
recruiting system (or access to one) that goes beyond the traditional methods
of making a list and calling that list.
That should be an indication to you that you are about to enter a
business opportunity where you will constantly have to replenish your reps as
there is no system in place to retain them and sustain your business.
Bottom line: Systems are the building
blocks of any network marketing business.
After you are satisfied that there are
the basic recruiting and training systems in
place (or you have access to them
outside of your primary business opportunity), then you can get passionate,
fall in love with the proposed venture.
