The 2 Questions That Will Give Palpitations To Any Network Marketer

Guest post by: Andy Acciaioli

Article Overview: Anyone involved in network marketing becomes a real pro at reciting the basic facts surrounding their business opportunity. But these two questions are sure to come up somewhere along the line of recruiting a new prospect. Your response to these questions will be a determining factor as to whether your recruit joins your network marketing business or goes elsewhere.

The 2 Questions That Will Give Palpitations To Any Network Marketer

Whether you have been in network marketing for a while or whether you are a newbie there are some questions which will be asked by prospects which you will be quite comfortable answering. For example if you are asked about your network marketing company, chances are you have a basic knowledge of historical facts: when it was started, who started it and where, how it has grown in terms of sales, product lines added, etc. In time, you will become quite confident with these facts as you will have said or written them in an email many times.

Somewhere in the process of recruiting, you will be asked two questions that are extremely uncomfortable to answer. Perhaps uncomfortable is to gentle a term. Let’s call these questions what they really are: heart stoppers.

Here they are:

1. How many people have you sponsored?

2. How much money are you making?

It’s normal for your first inclination to be “shut up, it’s none of your business”. But you give this answer on a regular basis and you will have a group of one. You.

My first network marketing trainer instructed me to respond to either of those questions with a “you wouldn’t believe me if I told you”. I was told to just keep repeating that answer as often as either question was asked.

Over the years, mostly from doing group meetings, before opening the meeting up for questions at the end of the opportunity presentation, I would say, “There are only two questions I cannot respond to: 1. How large my group is and 2. How much money I make.” With a gathering of 100+ people at these meetings, you always expect someone to ask “Why can’t you answer those questions? Are you hiding something?”

I would think, “Hey, sir, how about I ask you how much you make on your job?” But I didn’t. My response as to why I would not answer those questions was because if I told you the size of my group or how much money I was making that might be considered coercion to get you to sign-up. I would always add “besides maybe your group will be two or three times larger than my group or maybe not as large as my group…it all depends on the effort you put in to building your networking business.”

Today now that most of us are on the internet, those questions still get asked of us. They come in the form of emails or Skype chats. Just reword or respond exactly as I did “There are only 2 questions I cannot answer as they might be considered coercing you into joining our network marketing opportunity. I can’t tell you how large my group is. And, I can’t tell you how much money I make.”

This works whether you are a veteran network marketer or if you just joined the team an hour ago.

10 best franchises to get involved 10 best franchises to get involved - My advice is: 1) Go to the library and start reading business books (accounting, finance, etc.) 2) Go to your local community college and enroll in night classes 3) Join the local Chamber of Commerce 4) Network / Network / Network -- through the above sources. Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.
Re: Welcome to Entrepreneur University! Re: Welcome to Entrepreneur University! - Andy C. responding to your question. I;ve been with Ilearningglobal for a few months. I went down to their corporate office to check it out, and at their Launch Conference in March. Amazing company, first class executives running the company, and the Faculty are the best of the best in the world. I personally met Brian Tracy, Dan Clark, Bill Bartman etc. Simply great individuals. As Brian Tracy says, "Learn from the experts, you'll never live long enough to learn it all yourself" If you join as a Preferred Customer for $79.95, the Marketer who's website you signed up through, will earn a commission. If all you want is the Basic Membership, it's $79.95. In order to earn commissions you need to be a Marketer. It is a one time $20.00 to be a Marketer. For the $20 you receive: 1) Your own personal replicated website for marketing ILearningglobal. ( as people join, they are linked to you) 2) Provided with your own back office website to manage your business ( tracks your commissions, shows your customers & marketers etc. in your group) 3) Access to tools and training by ILearninglobal All for just $20. Every month thereafter, just your Membership of $79.95 qualifies you for commissions as people join. Where can you operate a global business, with a huge potential for so little. Andy C.

Trent - the new category is "Social Network and Media" which was put in to compliment the Online Businesses category that currently exists. Overall the new categories are: - Looking For, Networking and Events - Review My... - Social Network and Media - Brags and Rants These came as a result of Ringo doing research on other forums and thinking about what could be improved on ours to give a better experience for everyone. I hope you enjoy them! David, I'm looking forward to reading your Brag / Rant!
Re: Have a Security Clearance Question? But are afraid to ask? Re: Have a Security Clearance Question? But are afraid to ask? - I think I've already addressed your topic in another forum or thread, but I think the easiest way to generate additional traffic to your web site is to provide content that is fresh, new, and insightful. Give users a reason to access your web site besides purchasing your services. Give them a reason to gain knowledge and they will come back and give you business when they can. Good luck in your campaign, and I hope everything turns out for you! One question I have is do security clearances check your family information as well (family criminal offences, etc).
