Tick. Tock. Another Network Marketing Team Member Drops Like A Rock.

Guest post by: Andy Acciaioli

Article Overview: 63 days is how long the average new network marketing recruit will stay in your business before quitting if he/she does not make any money. An ideal hook to keep them in your business is to find a non-competing online affiliate offer that they can participate in which offers a large commission so they can fund their (your) primary mlm business.

Tick. Tock. Another Network Marketing Team Member Drops Like A Rock.

As the industry wide statistic goes, you have 63 days to get a new member of your team 63 days to get them to make money in your opportunity or he/she is history. Somehow the vision of “you go and sponsor three and then teach those three to sponsor three who will then go and get three each”…well, that vision has faded over the past couple of months. All they see is the money they put into buying into your network marketing business plus the monthly autoship payments.

This is not saying that you have not tried to get their business kick-started with them. Most all of us focus on getting a new member of our group to start generating some activity be it online or offline. However, it is almost as though all the answers we had while pitching the new recruit do not hold true once they realize that they have to work the business in order to get it working for them.

Let’s be perfectly honest, in order to build an organization that will provide substantial residual income will take months for the overly ambitious and even years for the most seasoned of us. When a brand new network marketer who has paid anywhere from $250 to $500 to join your business and then a monthly autoship of around $100 realizes that the $2 or $3 residual (from his/her purchases) is a far cry from walking the beaches of the world, you have a problem retaining that person.

There are online affiliate programs that you can join and introduce your team members to. These will serve as a means of keeping new (and even old) team members focused on building your mlm business.

Why? Affiliate programs will pump immediate cash into their bank accounts. No longer will they feel as though all they keep doing is shelling out money for autoship and marketing tools for their (your!) business.

You have to be careful of affiliate programs. Some offer you a tiny amount, a small percentage of the sale, to promote their product or service. This becomes burdensome as you, and your team members, find yourselves working even harder for a small amount of money. Worse yet, it becomes a distraction to their building their (and your) business.

Find an affiliate offer that practically sells itself and pays out a large commission. This will get an unstoppable revenue stream flowing to you and your team members which can then fund the building of their (your) network marketing business.

How many of your team members are approaching 63 days without having made back their initial investment?

Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? Is it not legit?
Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.

Tipping Point Tipping Point - My guess on Pet Rock is it may be something that resulted out of spin off idea. Not sure if someone thought about it to begin with or it maybe something it ended up being that way -- I am interested to know about it because it's certainly against all odds type of success based on what the product really does to benefit the end user. So I'll bring up a point here -- is it the product that brings Most/Least profitability or is it really the way someone markets a product? For example, in Network Marketing industry, you see these "innovative products" pushed around all the time while if the product itself is what really sells, it should be put on the major retail store shelves sold with major press conference campaign. But it comes down to the individual ability to market the same product that results in sales record while dealing with the same market, same comp plan etc. So I can say that even an average product can really bring great results [i:1mu1wz0v]if marketed right [/i:1mu1wz0v]and that's where I'd like to see businesses focus most -- selling the same product, same market, same idea, same price, some profit better while others fail --- why some can do better than others and how can we all replicate the type of success? And if someone knows a "connector" that can take one idea to another that will bring great results, whoever marketing the product or service can serve as its tipping point -- if this paragraph can add to what Martin is brining up.
