One of the very best ways to reach lots of people online is by starting a blog. Blogging has many advantages over a traditional website.

Let's take a look at a few of the benefits to blogging.

The Internet is full of all sorts of free blogging software and templates that will allow you to get your blog set up and running in no time. Best of all, you don't need to be a web design expert or even know that much about how to optimize your page so that search engines will be able to find you. Good templates can handle much of this for you.

Websites like Wordpress allow anyone to have free access to easy to use software. While Wordpress may not allow you to place ads, this doesn't mean that you can't promote another one of your websites or blogs.

The fact that Wordpress is so well optimized for search engine results means that you can have a real leg up in driving people to your site.

You need to remember that as an Internet marketer it's all about reaching as many people as you can. Blogging is a great way of doing just that, and there are lots of resources at your disposal.

There are even sites that allow you to register your blog and will start promoting it for you. These blog promotion sites and blog carnivals are a great way for new blogs to get out there and get noticed.

Additionally, sites like Blogcatalog are specifically designed to let bloggers network with one another. In the process, they drive traffic to one another's sites for blogging networking.

No matter what type of site you might have and no matter what type of product that you might be marketing, you can market it on a website such as Blogcatalog.

I am a firm believer that we are swimming in opportunities. All you have to do is look at what is possible in the world of blogging to understand just how much this fact is true.

When people ask me how I became successful, I always tell them that it was by embracing all the new opportunities. It was only back in 2007 when I lost everything including my mortgage business. Although I had built up this business over 28 years, I had to start over.

I attribute part of my success to my years of yoga study and working as a yoga instructor. This gave me the skill set necessary to keep calm yet determined.

I quickly turned to Internet marketing, and today I am making more money than I ever have in my life. You can do it as well. Just keep a cool head and embrace the multitude of available possibilities.

Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers - When I came back to Japan in 1999 I sometimes used to ask my students if they would buy anything on the Internet and at that time most thought it was too risky. I'd encourage them to try by using well known sites such as Amazon.co.jp and also pointed out that using a credit card on a reputable site was safer than using it at a restaurant. I can't remember the last time I had that discussion or when the "tipping point" occurred in Japan. To answer your other question, I use Paypal for several reasons: 1. Brand familiarity 2. Easy to use 3. Free to withdraw 50,000yen+ to my Japanese bank account - a huge benefit (but maybe other systems also offer that...?) 4. Easy to cancel subscriptions On the down side, their transaction fees are quite costly, they are difficult to contact and when disputes arise you can sometimes lose even when you can prove via your tracking service that the disputed item was "delivered" to the customer's address!

Delegating - Good info and interesting list. Easy to see how the authority or power is slowly passed to the person - the secret would be knowing WHEN to move to the next step. I like to avoid people who are stuck at the #1 level. Chris
