DoubleClick or Double Cross? You Decide.

You may not be familiar with DoubleClick, but odds are you have seen their handy work over and over again. DoubleClick is an online advertising company that is also a part of Google. DoubleClick works to provide all sorts of Internet ad servicing solutions.

To phrase it another way, they collect data on you and then market you their client's goods and services. Some of the largest companies in the world use DoubleClick to get their products sold.

If you don't like the idea of DoubleClick tracking you and marketing to you, well, that is just too bad. As of 2010, it appears as though DoubleClick does not allow users to opt out of IP address tracking. Yes, that means they know where you live!

But that is just one aspect of DoubleClick's problems. This website has also been sited by many as using spyware as they track web surfers as they travel from site to site. Naughty? That depends upon whom you ask. Symantec and other Internet security companies think that DoubleClick is naughty indeed and they actively block DoubleClick.

Yet DoubleClick does a nice job of demonstrating a key fact to Internet marketers. Massive companies such as Google are making a killing every day off Internet marketing. There is no reason you can't be getting your own comparatively tiny cut of that action.

When I started in the Internet marketing world back in 2007, I really didn't know all the "ropes," but I was able to learn. I credit my background in yoga and meditation for helping me achieve the focus that I needed to go from losing my job as a mortgage broker to making more money than I ever thought possible as a Internet marketer.

I know you can do it, because I've seen it happen for others and myself.

You can make money on the Internet. If you have heard this and thought that you didn't know enough or couldn't do it, just realize that there is literally a sea of free tools to help you.

Additionally, you can work with freelancers who can help you with virtually any task that you might not know how to do yourself. Remember the infrastructure for you to make your dreams come true already exists. The trick is to get in there and take a shot!

Choosing a title that has no relation to the content on the page Using extremely lengthy titles that are unhelpful to users Using a single title tag across all of your site’s pages or a large group of pages Stuffing unneeded keywords in your title tags Writing description meta tag that has no relation to the content on the page Multiple domains Multiple identical sites Cross Linking[/quote:1y3g8bot] re: Cross Linking, how do you define that? Re: Hello from Bangladesh Re: Hello from Bangladesh - Hello Kevin, Thank you for replying back to my message. There are many business goals for this year including but not limited to: 1. Managing long term partnership contracts from more clients. 2. Cross-border expansion - open our first overseas office at New York, USA. 3. Progressing smoothly to our road to CMMI certification. 4. Introduce a new service - call center operation. Best Regards Hasnaeen
Re: Where to focus your time? Re: Where to focus your time? - I would agree with Evan here that focus is important. Unfortunately what happens especially to internet entrepreneurs is that they tend to get easily sidetracked and there is so much on the internet to feed this tendency that one needs to be particularly vigilant about avoiding it. Decide what is most important to work on first for your business and focus on that until you achieve what your goal is before moving on. MichelleJ
