Freelancing Lawyers and Accountants Are the Start-Up’s Friend

Often time people feel intimidated by the idea of starting up their own business, whether it's online or otherwise. When I lost everything back in 2007 and had to start over, it would have been easy to just "throw in the towel." However, I fortunately turned to making money on the Internet.

The bottom line is that you can't do everything yourself. Almost no one has the assortment of skill sets that are necessary to perform every task associated with a business. Luckily, there is a way around this dilemma, and that is to explore getting some help.

Freelancers are available for just about everything under the sun. For example, you can find freelancers to handle your accounting and legal needs. That's right, you can find a freelancer to draw up your legal documents, ranging from articles of incorporation to any other contracts that you may need.

Similarly, you can find freelance accounting help as well. You don't have to lock yourself into an expensive accounting firm to help you crunch the numbers. No matter how small your business may be, you can likely find a freelancing accountant to lend a hand.

Using a freelancing accountant or lawyer to help you with your business goals will help save you money and probably lots of it. And if there is anything a new business needs, it is to save money!

Think about it for a moment. Who is more likely to give you a good hourly rate, a freelancer or a large firm that has dozens if not even hundreds of lawyers and accountants working for it? Pretty simple choice isn't it?

I have taught yoga for years and this helped me maintain the discipline to stay calm under pressure. When you are feeling like you are under too much pressure, the odds are your decision-making will suffer. Remember you need a clear head to get your life back on track.

Making money is easy when you believe in yourself, stay focused and are determined. Tons of people are making money online; it is not a myth. The numbers of ways that you can make money online are practically endless and I cannot state that emphatically enough!

I was a successful mortgage broker and lost it all. I started over as an Internet marketer with no real experience.

There is a mantra that dictates that you should strive to "be where you're at." Keep this saying in mind as you embark on your own endeavors.

Re: About: product production! Re: About: product production! - At the end of the day, having a patent, copyright or trademark are pretty much useless because if the person who infringes on your legal rights and has more money than you... they'll bleed you dry (i.e. outlast you by being able to pay legal costs) long before you can finish the lawsuit. For instance, let's say the City of Toronto copied my artwork. Do you really think I can file a lawsuit and win against the City of Toronto?? Not a chance. Lawyers will try to tell you differently, but that's only because they want your business.

Re: Need some information on freelance jobs! Re: Need some information on freelance jobs! - Great topic. Freelance jobs are everywhere. I'm a member of Elance.com, ODesk.com and GetAFreelancer.com. The amount and types of jobs and projects available are staggering. Freelancing is a great way to build up a portfolio and resume, and get your name out there. ideasuniversity also brought up a good point about posting in various forums with a link in your signature about what you do. If you target threads specific with your experience and type of work you're looking for, you should be able to pick up some clients this way. I personally get most of my freelance work through forums. The great part is that they keep coming back.
