Youtube is a Very Powerful Marketing Tool

You and I both know that life is full of challenges. But how we respond to those challenges that make all the difference. If you are looking to make money online, you should see it as just another challenge that needs to be overcome.

Take, for example, Youtube. Millions of videos are watched on Youtube each and every single day, with tens of thousands of videos being uploaded constantly. There is a reason that countless people are on Youtube marketing themselves and their products. The reason is that it works.

By using Youtube, you can potentially reach a global audience. The ramifications of this are simply tremendous. Just a decade ago there would have no way that you can have reached so many people on a limited budget. But today the game is completely different. Anyone looking to promote virtually anything can do it on Youtube.

Part of what makes Youtube such a remarkable tool is that it allows you to take advantage of Youtube's excellent search engine. Whenever you upload a new video, Youtube allows you to enter keywords. These keywords effectively work just like any other search engine.

The process has been streamlined as well. This means whenever anyone looks up any topic, you have a chance of appearing.

I worked as a successful mortgage broker until 2007 rolled around. I think we all know what happened next due to the economy. It would have been easy, very easy, to panic but I didn't.

One of the reasons that I didn't panic is due to my background in yoga and meditation. Keeping a level head is key, and I believe my background allowed me to stay cool and focused.

It can be a bit stressful figuring out how to make money online, but I did it. A big part of being able to make money online is to believe that it is possible.

Youtube is a key example of what I am talking about. All sorts of people have successfully marketed just about everything under the sun through Youtube. It is one the world's key tools for reaching people today.

So much of success is all about having the right mindset and the right approach. Believing that all things are possible is key. I feel that meditation and yoga helped me focus. In turn, this helped me make money online.

You have goals and dreams you are trying to fulfill. Believing in yourself and what you can accomplish if you try is no doubt a key part of making money online.

Re: Social Media & Digg, Google, MySpace, and YouTube Re: Social Media & Digg, Google, MySpace, and YouTube - I use Google virtually all the time! If you include looking at Youtube videos on other people's sites then I guess Youtube is my second choice, with Yahoo.co.jp (for Japanese auctions) and Facebook in third and fourth places.
Youtube Embedded in Your Site Youtube Embedded in Your Site - [quote:2hbhtcjr]I would be more of the mind to use the videos within your own site, keep your IP yours. [/quote:2hbhtcjr] Hi, Clint Once I get decent video to show, I'll have those embedded on my site. I was just showing these because I thought they were funny... I think it's a good idea to have them on Youtube as well though because when people are searching for video - for example of historic Yorktown, there's a chance my stuff might come up, whereas if I don't have it on Youtube, they have no chance of seeing it unless they stumble across the site! But obviously my "real" travelogues will be a bit more professional. In fact I'm scripting one now...
Sports trumps politics... Sports trumps politics... - Last night about midnight I put a Youtube video of Barack Obama's "57 state" gaffe on my political blog, and a Youtube video of Lebron James telling his mother to sit down, during the Cavs/Celtic game last night. Announced both videos on Digg. It's 11 am my time. The Obama post has 7 hits. 7! The Lebron post already has over a thousand hits. And 4 clicks on AdSense! (Which just goes to show the ratio of hits to AdSense clicks...)
Re: How can I promote my site? Re: How can I promote my site? - Hey, ok with this I would say as the owner you would want to network with other artists, Facebook marketing i.e getting involved with other people would be great, Youtube video marketing, article writing, purchase advertising in related trade publications. The message is so key when trying to get to your target market. How or why does your site benefit the end user, then put that into a message that acknowledges the problems these people have and presents your product (website in this case) as a great answer to their problems. The way you deliver that message i.e Youtube, Facebook, articles, blooging, SEO will all be to a point irrelevant if you dont craft a proper message to these people and put it in terms of them
