The Home Based Business Can Be Internet Marketing
The biggest reason for people to shy away from starting there very own business, is that they really do not know where to start, or affraid they will fall flat on there face. This is a common thought so don't feel you are alone. Remember Donald Trump once said "The only way to amass true wealth is having your own business". With the education out there on the internet to help you get something off the ground it is getting easier to do so.
The Home Based Business is growing rapidly due to the unfortunate spike in the unemployment rate, now at 10.2%. Companies are simply not hiring anyone because they can't afford to, so people are taking things into there own hands to make a living. Online Marketing is growing faster than I've seen in years, it has proven time and time again to produce great results if done properly. People are getting educated on the business today so they can be successful and finally have the financial freedom to live there lives as they have always dreamed of.
Online Marketing is a true business and you have to treat as such, if you run it like a hobby then it will pay you like a hobby. It takes committment on your part day after day to make sure it is running properly, I'm not saying 10 hours a day, but a few hours each day after you have everything up and running should be enough. The business becomes fun as you see it grow and you start reaping the true benefits. This can be and should be a lifetime involvement and eventually become your only job you have, which will then give you more time with your family and friends to do what you always dreamed of doing.
Try this type of business, and remember to stay committed to it. It should suprise you in the long run.

I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet.
Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology.
I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business.

- Here is my financial management categories for today:
15% Long Term Savings;
10% Home Expenses;
45% Business and Marketing charges;
10% Friends (Meeting);
20$ Scientific and Law Books.
But this will change when it is August or September.

- Hi Kevin,
I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

- Hi Kevin,
Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory.
Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing.
I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
