A lot of entrepreneurs kick the can when they start, don't know what to do, don't bother to learn and in return, fail in 90 days. Or you can be like the other half who put nothing but money into their opportunity and see no results, say this isn't working, and quit. With Google's ever changing system it is tough to keep on top of the search engines, until today. What happens if i have no experience?

I couldn't even think of what SEO meant until i researched and learned. Three easy SEO steps that will give you the free traffic, generate leads that you can monetize on, no one needs experience.

1) Articles - Why do industry leaders always make the top dollar month after month? They have branded themselves to show themselves as leaders, they have released articles, videos, everything pertaining to their opportunity and how you can find success within it. Brand yourself as a top professional and release articles weekly, daily if you can. Article's give you free placing on search engines and it will create the back-links you need to start increasing your page rank with Google, Yahoo and Bing. Free article releasing is the #1 way to get free traffic to your site and brand yourself as a professional.

2) Keyword Rich Content - No one wants to know how you think you are better than everyone else. Write a relevant article pertaining to your niche market. Use those keywords that you have researched that will generate you the specific traffic you are looking for. Use your title in your content, if you are writing about weight loss, use weight loss in your content and title, its that's easy. It will bring the potential sponsor to your article and then in turn to your website. If they are looking for weight loss, they want a catchy title that involves weight loss. Remember, you only have the first 3-4 words of your title to bring the reader in.

3) Keep it interesting ­- You don't need to write a 5 page article on why you think the sky is blue. Keep the readers intrigued with your content, keep it short and get to the point you need. No one will want to read your essay, everyone will want to read your short article on a quick and easy method to do something in their market.

Have your plan and set it into action. Release 4 articles a week if you can, more back-links you are able to get, higher of a page rank you will receive. Never buy leads and traffic again. Never submit your site to a page-rank damaging directory. SEO is easy, everyone can learn how to do it. No need to spend any more money on useless PPC.

I agree that leveraging the power of social sites is the way to go. Thanks WebBizIdeas for adding even more tips. It has made me change my whole thinking about article marketing. So, how do you go about influencing the heavy hitters to digg or submit your articles or website? Do you just ask them? Or, is there a certain process you go through? Alan
Blog Marketing Anyone? - Hi Kevin I suppose you could use the same SEO principles on a Blog as you can for a website but the more content you have within your Blog, the better rankings/traffic you would receive. Would you have time to write a full length article with tips in it every day or second day to get the article count rolling over every week? I would also like to know if anyone has had any experiences with marketing blogs and the traffic they received.
Re: Article Marketing - Article marketing articles are used on websites and blogs, so follow the rules for writing good web articles. Put the most important information at the top, keep sentences and paragraphs short and make good use of subheadings. And if you promise five tips, make sure that’s what you deliver. I usually start with a rough plan which outlines my main points and then I expand on each of those points in a single paragraph. I don’t make these too long, as the average article marketing article is between 250 and 500 words long.
