Success or Failure in Online Business

You are building your Online Business and as with any new venture, you are working hard and promoting here, there and everywhere. But is your heart in it. Do you really think you can succeed. Do you think you are a failure. Are you a failure, or is it just that you are using failure as an excuse.

Is it your background, do you feel underprivileged. Or is it your

environment or lack of knowledge and tools?

It is always hard when starting your own Online Business, those around you often put you down. But if you are going to succeed, you have to rise above this, you have to have a central purpose, a definite goal. Try to read books to motivate you, written by people who themselves had to struggle to get somewhere in life. One of my personal favourites is "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

We all have demons in our past, we have to learn to move on and think positively about our future. Ignore those around us that say that we will never succeed, be self motivated.

Be positive, start by writing down your goals, make a list of what you want to be able to afford to do in the future. Where you want to be in five years time, even 1 years time. Ignore derisory comments, mix with people with ambition, they will only encourage you.

Do not allow yourself to be swayed or to digress from your goal. There will be prices to pay on the path to success. Things that have to be given up and people that have to be left behind. This is hard for all of us and we sometimes have days when we feel that we should give up. But don't and you will succeed.

As I have said above, you must surround yourself with people that have not only succeeded, but are also willing to help you with your chosen path.

Do this and the future is yours.

My entry My entry - 1. The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
Why A Project Fails? Why A Project Fails? - Hello Everyone As the size and complexity of ones business grows, so does their need to effectively manage projects. I have been thinking about the major reasons why a project can go wrong and my limited experience comes up with the following. 1 Leadership: A project manager with leadership skills and not just management skills. 2 Failure to (Foresee and) Plan 3 Failure to Manage: Ineffective change management control methods. Unclear decision making guidelines. 4 Talent: Finding, allocating and developing people 5 Scope: Setting an overly ambitious or amibigious project scope 6 Alignment: When projects are not prioritized in alignment with the business strategy, or project members personal objectives are not in tandem with that of the project / company 7 Lack of Candor: Communication Breakdowns I would be interested in knowing everyone's thoughts on this, especially on ways to overcome the above mentioned obstacles. Cheers!
