You awaken to find your face bathing in the glow of the morning sun, while a sudden chill envelopes the rest of your body. You realize immediately that its not the dread of facing the upcoming 24hrs but the cold air of the autumn morning that's invaded the sanctity of your home. Everything suddenly comes into focus. Your unemployed, you haven't paid your heat bill, and old Jack Frost is nipping at your nose. Your currently living off of whatever savings you have and a bi-weekly unemployment check. Your getting ready to face yet again another week of job hunting and the self degrading acceptance of a salary that's beneath you.

The real pain however is the fact that the holidays are a hop skip away and it's a good chance that you will have to explain to your children that Santa's sleigh will be a little light with presents for them this year possibly even pass over there house completely. Somewhere deep at the very nerve center of your being you want to scream for help. You want to be released from the shackles of this economic prison. I want to tell you that it dosen't have to be this way. Your current circumstances, no matter how unfortunate weather it being a compilation of your own doing or a result of the economic downturn you have a choice to remain in that situation or not.

Two months ago I was sleeping on a mattress on the floor of my aunts house feeling bitter and depressed at what I thought was the lowest point in my life. I quickly transformed from bitter and depressed to focused and proactive entrepreneur when I discovered Carbon Copy Pro. I was immediately skeptical, and unsure when I initially reviewed the system and conducted research. I new absolutely nothing at all about Internet Marketing or business at all for that matter. After a few weeks of beating around the bush I decided to jump in with both feet and was blown away at how simplistic the system is designed. I was even more shocked when I discovered that the the top echelon guys who are seeing 7 figure paydays are regular run of the mill guys like me.

The system has completely helped me reprogram my thinking. I'm no longer concerned about what state the economy is in because I'm learning a new skill that will make me more marketable in this global economy. I have the time and freedom to do things that really bring value to my life, none of this however would have been possible if I didn't take action and do whatever it takes to change my circumstances. I'm telling you this because there is no such thing as job security anymore. Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

You sound like a very enthusiastic person who likes what she does and in Internet Marketing that is very important and you also sound like a 'people person' which is great. Internet Marketing is time consuming and challenging but can also be extremely rewarding and hopefully profitable. I don't know how many forums you have signed up to but this is one of the best. The support and guidance you get here is what makes it the success that it is but as I am sure you know from looking at the side bar that there are many aspects of business that are catered for here which will help you along the way, best wishes, Mal.
Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
